- Welcome to "Master the Standard Z-Score: A Comprehensive Tutorial", where we make complex statistical concepts accessible to everyone. This video aims to break down the concept of the Standard Z-Score, a fundamental tool in statistics, into simple, understandable parts.
Have you ever wondered how to compare data points from different datasets? Or how to understand if a score is outstanding or just average? The Z-Score is the answer! By standardizing scores in a distribution, the Z-Score allows for comparisons across different scales, measurements, and datasets.
Through this tutorial, we will explain what a Standard Z-Score is, why it's so crucial in the field of statistics, and most importantly, how to calculate it. We will guide you through step-by-step examples, ensuring you gain a robust understanding of the process. Moreover, we'll provide tips on when and why you should use this statistical measure.
Whether you're a student, an aspiring data analyst, or someone with a keen interest in statistics, this tutorial is designed to boost your statistical skills and make you comfortable with data interpretation. Remember, statistics doesn't have to be daunting. It's just a different language for understanding the world, and we're here to help you learn it!.

Thank you so much. My Professor isn't teaching he's just throwing out reading assignments. I need to be taught and you accomplished that task. I haven't done college level math in 30 years. So today I purchased your course.
😂😂😂😂
why am i paying all this money for school
For real😢
Hey , im from africa
and i really love your work just sending some love from africa you really put a real inpact
Thank you, professor, it clarified me a lot!
You are welcome!
You are literally saving my life right now
i am a tutor at chegg if u have any problem with quiz in statistics i will help u
I am puzzled about what would be the Z score to get 100% of the data ...like 3 std deviaions away i.e between z= 3 and z= -3 we have 99.7 % of data as per Empirical rule ...but at what value of z score we get 100% of the data ??
Holy cow, it clicked! Thank you so much for your video! After many years, I'm returning to college, and math is my kryptonite. I don't want it to be, so I'm taking classes to overcome this. You are a wonderful instructor, and I appreciate your help! I HAVE SUBSCRIBED :)!!!
This is a godsend for my NURS330 biostat class!
Love from India 🇮🇳
You want an answer from the professor?
This is so helpful… I might end up passing my class because of you! I feel like such an idiot in my class… this is such a helpful resource! She should adopt this as her class
i hope you get the Nobel prize

YOU'RE DA BEST
You're a brilliant teacher.😊
well explained. love it.
Truly Appreciate you 🙏
thank you so much this was really really helpful😍🥰
you`re the best in the field of mathematics. you always make everything look simpler. Thank you very much
❤❤❤❤
The explanation is splendid. I learnt alot about the topic when I watch this video. Thanks 🙏
My teacher in varsity did not explain it like this! Thank you.
You don't need to use the z table after?

Nice explanation 🙏
Thanks very much
Good explanation
How to calculate 630 value
Thank you, very helpful
Well understood
Nice lecture! BTW at 3:22 you said a 'good' Z score means the data lies on the tails of the 'normal/bell' curve. I could not understand this. Please guide. Thanks.
Good Z score means 2 or 3 + std dev above the mean. The "tails" are the extreme high or low values on the bell curve, either side of the mean value.
Thanks for more information
Thank you so much this was very helpful.

Enlightening.
Thanks a lot.
Thank you
You use the average not the mean, does it matter
Mean and average are the same thing, just different words
This was super helpful.

very detailed explained thanks
Very clear and enlightening
You talk a lot
😂😂
People will still criticize.
He was explaining and you here saying shit.
The only thing I didn't like about his class is that he has monetize everything, asides that, I think he's a good teacher
