Oh I too HIGHLY recommend the retinol products that Medik8 make. I have very reactive skin (as in, having to go to the hospital in the past due to such bad responses to products and so forth etc) and have tried many of Medik8's retinol-forward products and none of them have even remotely irritated my skin or eyes. My skin just loves 'em so I recommend them for everybody who wants to try retinol serums or oil formulas and is concerned about having an epic reaction. The Crystal Retinal 3 is also what I'd suggest people start with, great suggestion Bekah.
If you haven't yet tried the LYS setting spray, I highly recommend it! I felt similar to you about the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray (it was my summer wedding day setting spray). But the mist on the LYS is even finer (making it easier to set in layers) and somehow it's even more fresh and natural looking for just as long. I still will use my Charlotte Tilbury, but it definitely looks more "heavy duty." For day to day I prefer natural, fresh makeup looks and would just go without setting spray, but now I've been reaching for the LYS one non-stop.
@@Bekah_Sun I have dry to normal skin, but I think so based on other reviews I've seen from oily combo folks, and the fact that it doesn't seem to change the finish of your makeup. It feels slightly refreshing going on but is super lightweight. It's not dewy, works well with powder (though I use light powders and pretty sparingly).
Thank you for leaving this really helpful recommendation. In exchange, may I leave one for you? I'm not really into dedicated primers, finding well cared for, hydrated skin a perfectly good base for make up, HOWEVER, when holidaying in hot humid countries I need all the help I can get it 😅💦💦. I relied on a free sample of Milk's 'Hydrogrip' primer on my last holiday and was dreading the day it ran out. I wore Lauder's Doublewear over it and it was a sensational combination. Here's the detail of critical importance: where I test drove the product. The Yaeyama Islands. In summer. Hooooooly smokes🥵☀. I rest my case. I highly recommend this product for delivering not just a smooth finish but a long lasting and smooth finish no matter how grossly sweaty and overheated your face feels. Hope you'll buy a travel sized one and give it a try during your adventures in summer 2024. ✌
I really enjoy the MAKE beauty serum balms, but I feel like I go through them so much more quickly than other lip products. And the packaging makes it difficult to get the last 1/4 out. I always end up popping out the sifter and have quite a bit left to use. The tubes are gorgeous and so is the formula, so I'll likely still repurchase eventually.
We missed you
Missed being here! 🥰☀️
Thank you for this. Can make a video sharing peptide serums at different price points so that we can all include it in our routines? Thanks in advance

I love hearing this! Medik8 really knows how to formulate retinoids.
Not make up related: where did you get your magenta table top Christmas tree ??❤
I love the big hair clips you're wearing at the beginning of your video, where are they from? Love your reviews! xx

Ohh interesting! Do you think the LYS spray would work for oily/combo skin?

I agree with you there. I wish the doe foot applicator were long enough to reach the bottom of the tube!
Did you buy all these or did you get some for free
She discloses in her description which was PR/gifted with a *
I love this!!! I post about skincare as well. ❤
You must get this all the time, but your skin is beautiful.
That's so kind - thank you so much
Avene retrinal doesn't have retinal😂
