As an owner of both a 2021 X3 and X5 I agree with some of your comments, but not all. Back seat in X5 is much wider, floor is flat making accommodation for three easier. Interior fit and finish is better , more leather, less soft plastic on dash, doors and center console. Much smoother and seamless power delivery from B58 six cylinder engine. Larger cargo are, while only three cubic feet wider and flatter. Dual folding rear hatch a great feature. X3 is more “agile” as you say but X5 is quieter and effortless at highway speeds. I’m getting about the same MPG on both 21 in town 26 on highway. Four cylinder has to work harder despite weight advantage of almost nine hundred pounds! Initial cost much higher for X5. Bottom line get an X3 if family is smaller and you value agility versus comfort!
Yes thank you for mentioning width (amongst a lot of other great points you made) X5 is certainly wider than the X3 I apologize for not mentioning that. X5 is def the better higher quality experience but will certainly come with that higher cost as we both mentioned. It’s a great lease option. I considered getting one, they are very nice, however I got myself a top spec CX-5 turbo instead. Right or wrong decision it’s done now so let’s see if that decision was a decent one.

You did right choice, I got a CX 5 GT Non Turbo (CA) and I test drove X3 also. Right off the bat the interior is more beautiful and feels even more luxurious, amazingly quite and also it comes with more features than X3 like Cooled seats , Heads up display , 10 Speaker BOSE. In terms of the performance X3 wins easily with that ZF superfast 8 speed. but overall for what you pay CX5 wins I think if performance is not your priority.
@@saeednrzadeh4754 So far loving it, drives great and seems to have lots of get up and go. My only 2 niggles at this time is the leather seats are a bit hard though I’ve made a couple of nice looking seat cushions for it, and the piano black on the exterior door pillars are ridiculously soft so scratch too easily, look great but totally impractical. Had the windows tinted 2 days ago and the guy put some decent finger scratches on them. I see on UA-cam they can be polished so I’ll have to learn how to do that because I think it will be a regular thing that’s needed.
Absurd to use something on a cars exterior that scratches just rubbing you finger across it 🙄
@@MeynMotorGroup I test drove the CX-5 and did not enjoy driving it while I enjoyed the X3.
Unfortunately Adaptive Suspension is not available on all but the M models, so the appeal of the X3 is somewhat diminished. The difference between having Adaptive Suspension and not is huge and is my sole reason for not getting another X3.
