Just hope the electorate in his constituency give him a big F Off through the ballot box.
There's massive frustration, but the frustration should be directed to the government', not people crossing the Channel to seek asylum. The UK left the Dubs amendment post Brexit and failed to negotiate alternative agreements. As Anderson himself said, the Tories have failed on immigration. No amount of culture wars (which he himself said is the only thing the Tories have left) will solve problems with the asylum system.

They needed someone who'd unthinkingly defend Lee Anderson, fortunately there's a pitiful pool of candidates who'd be awful enough to stand up for him.
This guy has expenses of over £200,000 in the last year.
So what he says is a lie.

Always worth reminding ourselves that even if some people love Marmite, it was literally discovered by somebody scraping the bottom of a barrel.

Someone in his position should set an example. He should apologise and consider seeking alternative employment (if anyone other than the tories would have him)
Lee needs to focus more on the cost of living cost of living crisis if he really cared for the people.

It's not that I won't admit to agreeing with him , even if he said something I agreed with, because of his political party. it's that I can find someone far less awful to agree with, who will share that specific view.
