  • adyashanti.org - All forms of deep contemplation incorporate a profound awareness of the quiet space inside. In this pointed and practical instruction on meditation, Adyashanti encourages us to relinquish any effort to control the mind, and instead, direct attention to the silence between and around our thoughts and words.
Excerpted from April 14, 2021 Online Broadcast, “The Way of Effortless Effort”:
    bit.ly/32SZ5YZ
    Quotes from this Video:
“Something we're not often taught, is that the space between words is extraordinarily significant.”
“Leave your thoughts alone - almost have an attitude that they are just noise, like traffic noise, or the wind through the trees noise, or the noise of a dog barking.”
“It wouldn't be really natural for our mind to stop thinking forever. That’s not the goal.”
“Effort will always be an embodied experience. There's often a kind of tension in the body when we're efforting more than is necessary.”
“We’re just allowing all of your experience, whatever it may be, to have this space to exist in.”

Have you listened to Rupert Spira? The clearest I’ve ever heard.

@@bornuponawave Oh yes, he's fantastic too. He's one of the clearest thinkers/speakers I've ever heard. His explanations are intellectually superior to most everybody else. But Adya grabs my heart-space, which is where all of the "mind stuff" is pointing ultimately.

@@bornuponawave Rupert is great also. I agree with you. I would say he is more mentally inclided whereas adya is a bit more complete and more grounded/embodied of course that is just my opnion. I love to learn from both and everyone. have you tried listening to his wife Mukti ? she is great also and proposes free consultations if you want. She has great advice and lot of experience.

The most fascinating thing about this experience is yes this has always been here, and it will always be here, It was never created nor can it be destroyed it's truly the eternal

I waited so long to receive this teaching. I've had to be conscious of the entire process for decades, which really sucked. Thank you.

Oh MY God ! Adyashanti ! You just blow my mind so often ! I feel so seen ! You offer so many deep insights, it is just soooooooo waw !!! I have even burst out of laughter listening to you, because the mirror you are handing is just so showing us where we are too much !
It is funny to listen to someone who sees it because for those who do it, we don't see it with that contrast !

Senseless, wordless, without Being "The Presence" is everywhere, here and there, nowhere, not there and not there simultaneous. There is no sight or hearing and thus no life, no words, no being. Time, Mind, Body, Consciousness, Awareness Imagination are all "The Presence" in the make believe world of words. Realize all words are whole/complete as are all senses. Thus Self is complete and "The Presence" Nothing has ever been, will be or is now "The Presence. NO BEING without these words that are complete. These are the last words created by Imagination in "The Presence" What follows NO BEING dissolved?

The quiet space between the sentences is where the "I AM" is. The animator and the animated, the informer and the informed, the movement, being, and expression of creation. Thank you for this video Adyashanti. I would like to invite those who would like to have a silent mind to use your technique with the UA-cam Guided Meditation Nisargadatta Maharaj - "I am". After some days of practice my mind is completely free of racing thoughts all the time which had drove me near nuts for more than 5 years. Thank you again. I am at peace.

True...but it's such a brilliant realization when the penny drops, and when you get what Adya is pointing at, that it's good to come from all angels, so as many of us as possible get his message which is so liberating and enlightening! It's a shift of perception and changes your life!❤️
