An update until I can make a 2017 version of this video: 1. The money per energy annotations are no longer relevant, so they have been removed. 2. In general, all the workshops are still very strong except for offhands (Steel Daggers & Jubre Talismans) due to Metal Solvent being harder to produce nowadays. 3. The best way to measure how good these are is to add up how much $$ a workshop makes in a day, and divide that by the amount of contribution you've invested. This will give you a good idea of how it compares to other places you could spend that CP, such as other workshops or nodes.
I am playing BDO SA and we have the same issue with Metal Solvent. You talked about offhands not being that strong because, but what about Yuria Longbow or Yuria Amulet? Or is there a better use for Metal Solvent?
You make great videos with a clear concise point and your verbiage is clear and well presented. Thank you. Im not sure if you're still playing BDO. but I know how to enhance because of you so thank!
I've only been playing for two weeks and my main is lvl 52 wizard but i'm struggling because my guild has 4 people total and i'm by far the most active. They have been helpful but now I'm usually playing by myself which isn't the experience I was looking for. So if you ever looking for another guild member or just some leisurely group quest i'm pretty active. Character name is "CrimsonSage"
Thank you for the time and effort put into these vid's!! They are a Great Help and inspiration to keep going in BDO!! I needed the help, lol!!! Keep up the Great Work!
Grunil Shoes... Currently it would be a miracle to buy any of the boots of the market without pre-ordering. My own boots where stuck at 60% durability for 2+ days before I managed to snatch a few pairs.. eu.. On the whole gloves are usually easy to get and I thank this video for that!! ;D
Thank you for posting such a helpful video. I really appreciate people like you who devotes time and energy to making our lives easier and the game more enjoyable! If I may ask, how many contribution points have you invested in Altinova in order to get these many workshops? Forgo all the other CPs you have to invest in other nodes. Just the CPs in the city (workshops, lodging, storage, etc). I am relatively a new player and only has about 125 CP, not sure if I will be ready to make such a move. Thank you so much for your time.
unlike some other people I think videos like this can indirectly contribute to abundancy and variety on the marketplace; too bad there's no possibility to do the same with livertos :P
Hi! Your guide's are very good i love watching them in this video the only thing i miss that around how many contribution point and silver do i need to make these workshops ready to work?
Thanks for all your videos, they are awesome !!! We need moar please :) ! Could you make one that explain the best way to optimize contribution invested in Calpheon/Heidel/Altinova please ? :3 I started the game 1month ago and I made my first 192 slots bank in Heidel 2 weeks ago, and 3 days ago I felt like I could gain back some points. So I started looking and calculating the best houses that give the most storage space for the lesser CP invested, and I gained back 6 CP, just by rearranging the houses. That could be a very good guide for all of us on how to optimize the CP invested in cities ! The rest is up to you, we all need your divine brain in action !
For making Pure Iron/Zinc Cystals do you make your own Metal Solvent or do you buy it off the market place? Pure crystals kinda put me off all the crafting :P
I'm a sorc I took a look at crafting Jubre Talisman awhile ago on Edan, even if I use the talisman for repair, I still wont make much profit. If you sell them on the market place and multiply your profit by .65, you definitely lose profit
The profit calculations assume you make the materials yourself. If you just try to buy everything off the market and make Jubre talismans, then yes, you will lose money.
hey man, do you do quests for processing exp skill ? I need to get profession processing 5 for making pure crystal to feed my alchemy stones. thanks a bunch
I don't do any processing quests, no. Based on the new changes coming to processing, however, it should be extremely easy to level up. If you want the most cost effective XP, make Fabrics or Steel Ingots.
Hello :) I was wondering if you could share which nodes have you invested in? I am new in the game and I think I might have been wasting my cps into the wrong nodes. I was also wondering if it is necessary to connect all the cities to be able to make decent money in BDO? Thanks a lot ^-^
Hey dude, any ETA on your next video discussing the changes since processing became free? I really enjoy your very in depth discussion of work shops, and I have learned a lot from this but I'd be cool to hear your input in the state of crafting at the moment. I've stopped all Yuria production and switched to just Jubre/Costume/steel taritas/Merchant Wagon.
The processing changes actually haven't affected any of these workshops significantly. Yuria market is going down because of the abundance of Livertos, but we'll have to wait until the dust settles from Valencia before it makes sense to publish any more market related videos.
Nice video It would have been much much better if it did not have that music in the background. I wish there was a way to turn that music off so i can hear what you say better.
The axe is so cheap because they drop so often from mobs. Go far rhutums for an hour ->get 5 >.< Also funny you don't mention the horse gear workshop that probably makes you a ton of money as well.
Hey. I just wanted to know if you are making a bit of everything every day or if you switch between the workshops? And how are you able to make about 40 millions each day, if you for example process all your ingerients the other day and sell everything and the next day you have to wait for new ore etc to come in? Furthermore, do you wait until all your workers are done working at the nodes and let them work at your workshops then? As you can't have unlimited workers in altinova. Thx for the answer.
As things get more competitive it's important to watch the market and not over-produce an item that is being flooded. I do process everything myself but I do not have any problems running out of materials since I have very high level workers. As for Altinova, I have 20 workers there (you can find lodging in some of the surrounding villages) so I don't have any problems keeping all my nodes and workshops filled. I also use Tarif workers for most of the nodes in Mediah anyways.
Whatever will sell. If something isn't selling fast enough I stop making it. I have 60 inventory slots in Heidel and 60 more in Altinova that are used for manufactured items only, and they are always full, spilling over onto characters for extra storage when needed.
Hello and thank you for the guide. I would like to ask you if you can tell me what the fastes and easiest way is to aquire rocaba helmets. Because on my server they are always sold out on the marketplace and I decided to enhance it myself to +15-17 and I need more helmets to increase it's maximal durability.
Yuria in general has suffered from the patch as Livertos now drop 3x as often. As noted in the video, I would drop your Yuria production on any of the weapons that fall below 200k. If +16-20 comes out on June 29th, however, we might see them bounce back a bit.
how many workers do you have? is there a maximum number of workers? in which city where most of your workers are from? sorry im noob in this department, i played for 2 months but my workers are still level 1
Most of my workers are in Altinova, shown here. I have some in just about every city, however, just depending on what materials I am trying to gather. My total number of workers is about 50 which is way more than what you will need unless you intend to focus on crafting a LOT.
soooo you must always have a value pack going then huh? most ppl dont have that.. so this type of money making aint too great for them/us? or did i miss something? also i just finished my epheria sailboat. chopped all the logs in like 2-3 days. crafted a lot of the axes. got about 10% luckies. ended up selling the luckies and just using the normals. i noticed no difference using lucky axes. actually some of my best runs were with the normals.
All the Top 10 nodes are still very applicable (ua-cam.com/video/7rI_P_wgES0/v-deo.html) although #8 and #6 are more alchemy-related and aren't necessary for anything here. The only new nodes I've taken that aren't in the video would be more Copper nodes for additional Powder of Flame.
There is really no way that, in the meantime, you put all numbers in the descriptions? Because without those, the video loses quite a lot of its value... Thanks!
You do daily quests in all towns and villages they give between 80 to 120 xp for contribution points, when lvl 50 from rhutum sentry post to the abandoned monestary, follow that road and you will find 4 npcs with daily quest about killing rhutum and manshas, they give each 200 xp for contribution points each one of them.
The video clearly states that lucky tools have not been proven to help shards, but seem to based on our data so far. You seem confident that they don't, but I notice you didn't post any proof of that. Feel free to contribute your evidence.
Shards (both hard and sharp) are given their very own 'rng' which is entirely seperate from all other game rng. It is a daily rng equation given to your character(not your account) in which your gathering rank, equipment, luck, and node level(energy invested) have NO effect. All characters have an equal chance to have their soul crushed under the weight of shard rng regardless of rank, level, equipment, or node investment.
I am the player Consis. I've done the math. My last guild didn't listen either. If you listen to me my best advice is to give the daily shard rng a simple and easy test: 30 gathers (of any type except by your own crops) a day. If you get nothing then your rng is unsuccessful for that day, try again tomorrow or simply switch to another character and do another 30 gathers. You could get 1-3 in a day or could nothing for 3 days. You will never see more than 3 on your luckiest day.
I'll be making my assessment of this later this week if you don't mind waiting, I will get back to you if it is viable, this guy hasn't made bdo content for quite some time.
An update until I can make a 2017 version of this video:

Morrolan TV
Just found you yesterday, and was massively relieved you're making updated content. You are one of the very very best here on YT ♡
Thanks for saying so!
I am playing BDO SA and we have the same issue with Metal Solvent. You talked about offhands not being that strong because, but what about Yuria Longbow or Yuria Amulet? Or is there a better use for Metal Solvent?
I don't play SA so I can't say if Yuria is worth it. My guess is that it probably is. You'll just have to look at the costs and see
If you still play BDO would you consider making a new video with updated stuff?
You make great videos with a clear concise point and your verbiage is clear and well presented. Thank you. Im not sure if you're still playing BDO. but I know how to enhance because of you so thank!
Thanks Hoaty. I'm still playing, I just haven't made anything new for UA-cam in a while. I spend most of my time on twitch.tv/morrolantv
I've only been playing for two weeks and my main is lvl 52 wizard but i'm struggling because my guild has 4 people total and i'm by far the most active. This video was a treasure trove of information. Great job.
I like all the videos you post for Black desert! They are sooo informative! Keep it up!
Thank you for the time and effort put into these vid's!! They are a Great Help and inspiration to keep going in BDO!!
I needed the help, lol!!! Keep up the Great Work!
Thanks for the kind words :)
just subbed
Love the way you structure your videos Morrolan :) Keep up the great work.

Whatt +2 ? Every armor has 100% chance till +5
Thank you for posting such a helpful video. I really appreciate people like you who devotes time and energy to making our lives easier and the game more enjoyable! I'd start with a Grunil workshop and see how it fits your playstyle. If it works, then you can expand to Costumes, Yurias, and Wagons.
Thank you!
Thank you very much for this info! Much appreceated :)
Another excellent video. Thanks mate.
unlike some other people I think videos like this can indirectly contribute to abundancy and variety on the marketplace; too bad there's no possibility to do the same with livertos :P
Just think of all the Rangers, Wizards & Sorcs who will rejoice that their offhand won't be stuck at +13 anymore :P
This is perfect for current xbox bdo
This is great stuff thank you so much!
Hi! Your guide's are very good i love watching them in this video the only thing i miss that around how many contribution point and silver do i need to make these workshops ready to work?
Great Videos!!! Thanks!
Great vid!
I love your Guides
Great video, i Love Informative videoes like this! (y) keep it up ^^

keep it up man
I'm a sorc I took a look at crafting Jubre Talisman awhile ago on Edan, even if I use the talisman for repair, I still wont make much profit. If you sell them on the market place and multiply your profit by .65, you definitely lose profit

i know and test all this and grunil armors ( chest in specialy) and steel tools are best ways to make money ( you can take lucky tools [200 k each] )
Hello :) I was wondering if you could share which nodes have you invested in? I am new in the game and I think I might have been wasting my cps into the wrong nodes. I was also wondering if it is necessary to connect all the cities to be able to make decent money in BDO? Thanks a lot ^-^
Another way to get Red Crystal for Yuria is melting Talis gear. Don't know what skill level you need, but I'm processing skilled 4.

you probably already have the answer for this, but they are ONLY mob drops and amity shop gear from valencia.
So..how many contribution points do you need in total in order to make this work?
any rec on which places to use for worker lodging that's efficient per CP invested?
that bedroom voice with that music o.o
don't make me blush
are yuria weapon still good, heard rosar is better...can you also make it?
I’m going to ask a dumb question but is this method still effective
There is a lot of ppl rerolling from Sorceress so maybe the amulet will drop in demand as many ppl selling their amulets.
Yuria in general has suffered from the patch as Livertos now drop 3x as often. As noted in the video, I would drop your Yuria production on any of the weapons that fall below 200k. If +16-20 comes out on June 29th, however, we might see them bounce back a bit.

thanks for the response mate. btw, when hiring workers do you have to hire blue ones or starting off with green workers are fine?
When you are brand new green isn't bad, but you should make a few alt characters and use their energy for blue workers as soon as possible.
Yuria axe is cheap becouse it drops easily in some spots., like 3-5 per hour.
Where do I have to put resources for making armor ?
soooo you must always have a value pack going then huh? most ppl dont have that.. so this type of money making aint too great for them/us? or did i miss something?
also i just finished my epheria sailboat. chopped all the logs in like 2-3 days. crafted a lot of the axes. got about 10% luckies. ended up selling the luckies and just using the normals. i noticed no difference using lucky axes. actually some of my best runs were with the normals.
how many contribution do i need to set it up`??
RIP weapon market in 2019, yuria sells for 30-40 k in SA server Q_Q
What is your node setup?
All the Top 10 nodes are still very applicable (ua-cam.com/video/7rI_P_wgES0/v-deo.html) although #8 and #6 are more alchemy-related and aren't necessary for anything here. The only new nodes I've taken that aren't in the video would be more Copper nodes for additional Powder of Flame.
🤩💕👍💯
Am I the only one not seeing how much the profit is for each workshop in the top left
UA-cam doesn't really support annotations anymore. There will be a 2017 version of the video with on-screen numbers in the future.
oh sweet man thanks for updating it, keep up the good work, your vids are great.
There is really no way that, in the meantime, you put all numbers in the descriptions?
Because without those, the video loses quite a lot of its value...
Thanks!
Just one question... how did u get 269 CP >_>
Here's how :) ua-cam.com/video/4yErWHyqZFY/v-deo.html
You do daily quests in all towns and villages they give between 80 to 120 xp for contribution points, when lvl 50 from rhutum sentry post to the abandoned monestary, follow that road and you will find 4 npcs with daily quest about killing rhutum and manshas, they give each 200 xp for contribution points each one of them.
That explains why players think the lucky tools help them get shards. I was wondering where this rumor got started. Misinformation.
The video clearly states that lucky tools have not been proven to help shards, but seem to based on our data so far. You seem confident that they don't, but I notice you didn't post any proof of that. Feel free to contribute your evidence.

Mind posting a source for that information?

Is this still viable?
I'll be making my assessment of this later this week if you don't mind waiting, I will get back to you if it is viable, this guy hasn't made bdo content for quite some time.
wereguy18 thank you man I appreciate it
