This guide is incredible! The calm and nonchalant attitude, the accent, along with the excellent tips made this so much less intimidating. Even as you spoke of what you thought to be the hardest level (which i did in like 5 attempts thankfully), you did it so calmly (1:14:03). I was able to get all 38 perfect relics thanks to this video. My only extra tip would be: Guys, since you dont need the hidden gem or the wumpa gems for the perfect relics, don't even try to incorporate them in your route. There are many boxes that can be broken quickly with TNTs and nitros instead of you wasting your time hopping on each box and breaking it (you can tell which ones when practicing), the only "downside" being you dont get wumpa fruit (which is not actually a downside at all, since you can deal with that after the perfect relic). This is a pretty big deal because the time people waste breaking boxes individually accumulates. I see too many videos making that mistake. The shorter the level, the less you worry about losing in it, the more effectively you go about it. So what if you still need a wumpa gem or a hidden gem after the perfect relic? Trust me, it will feel like taking a break after the permadeath aspect is done away with. There were several Perfect Relics I got where I didnt have enough Wumpa fruit and it was OK! Anything to make your actual Perfect Relic runs shorter and easier is worth doing. The Snaxx Dimension levels (Food Run, Rush Hour and The Crate Escape) are slowed down x0.5 in N.Verted mode, so some may find it easier to do those levels in N.Verted mode. It's a fact that you can get Perfect Relics in N.Verted mode. Personally, they were too slow for me so I didn't do it this way.

I started this game late, and I’m at Toxic Tunnels with all 35 perfect relics so far. I’ve really only just begun the jewel gauntlet, but it gives me hope for getting the relic after hearing that you think Crash Landed is more difficult. 1:16:57 - I slid off the edge just as the flames end, and spun into the boxes, activated antigravity past the flame platform, then almost immediately deactivated it to reach the other side. And on the box immediately after that, I found it best to slide into it and then jump, to always safely reach the other side. Great guide!

WARNING !!!!!! you forgot to say that for cortex castle the disk are totaly broken, sometime even if you land on top of a disk, it will make you spend through it and kill you

I have had multiple insanely perfect runs where I missed one box and then it turns out it was hidden off camera in some obscure position 20 meters above the level.

If I remember correctly, I think it took my 60-70 hours to get the platinum trophy. But I've been playing Crash games and platformers for over 20 years now, and I didn't have much difficulty with my first playthrough of Crash 4, whereas some people have really struggled.
@@jamiethepayne I suffered to finish the game and the flashback levels but not going for the completion, I find games like Spyro, Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario 3d World more enjoyable for completion, and the 90s Crash games were easier than this one.

But you dont need the hidden gems. Levels are easier when you dont have to think about hidden gems and wumpa gems. Focus exclusively on crates.

8:40 the nitros will take care of the two normal boxes on the upper level. There is no need to go for them. :)

Yes you can. But I found that the distracting visual styles made it harder.

Its not as bad as ppl make it out to be. i find crash 4 easy since you can negate game over screens and the power ups are pretty op.
