I’m ending up with holes between the middle of the clip when I’m doing the 11 sc in round one. I’ve tried easing up on my tension, but they still end up appearing. Would anyone know what I’m doing wrong? 😢 this is a great tutorial btw, this is probably just a me problem.

I use a 5cm clip and need to make it smaller. How to reduce the number of crochet stitches?

I think if you want to wear a 5cm hairclip you don't need to reduce the stitch... but if you want, you can try to reduce 1 chain at the beginning of the first round... of course you can use this pattern for business… ☺️
