I've been recently going through some of the same lens decisions. On the A7Cii I don't want a large and heavy lens, and I'm not in a position to pay GM prices. The lenses I've considered are the Sony 24-50 f2.8, Sony 20-70 f4, and this Tamron 20-40 f2.8. I settled on the Sony 20-70 f4 (still on order). Now that you've had your Tamron 20-40 almost 1/2 a year are you still happy with it? Subscribed, and congrats on 250 subscribers!
Hi, thanks for subscribing! I actually sold all the Sony gear not long after making this video and fully moved back to Fujifilm. Just a better fit for me. Out of all the lenses I did get, I still think the tamron was a good one, I would buy again if I ever brought Sony again.
@@ajnphotography_uk I always think that’s the beauty with camera gear though, if you’ve already invested then it’s fairly easy to chop and change without losing much !!
The hunting caf on samyang was a known issue and it is fixed in a firmware update.
Thanks for the info.

You need to turn up the volume a bit mate
Really? Thought it was ok. Will check it out.
You’ll be back to Fuji before long mate
I hope not! My bank account can’t take it! 😂

Update the firmware problem solved, shouldn't knock a lens without checking it first
