I called them found out pricing. Sounded good so I but about 1/2 down the first week of Aug. I still don't have a date on when it will be completed. They never answer the phone and do not call with any updates. This is the most frustrating and poor customer service I have had on any of my jeep builds. I live 14 hours from the shop so I cant just drive over to get updates. I just hope if it gets done someday It the quality of work will stand up. Though I would share because my interaction with Highlift Off-road as not been good.
The whole reason I bought my gladiator was for fun. It's not because it's a real truck, or an amazing overlander. I personally think the bob looks super cool. I had a scramber that I bobbed years ago, and it also looked super cool. If I wanted a bed that over hung, or a real overland rig, I would buy a fullsize pickup with a dana 60 front axle and a fuel tank that will go for 700 miles between fill ups. Plus I could sleep in the bed under a shell, and not need a roof top tent(they suck). To me, this bobbed bed is about the coolest thing you can do to a Gladiator, and it's not just another wrangler with a lift and tires. I also really like the stock bed bobbed way better then the aftermarket bobbed bed that is available. You guys did a good job and I hope you enjoy driving that thing around. Maybe someday I will get my bed bobbed too.
You sir absolutely get it! It’s nice to get acknowledge by someone who has knowledge. Appreciate the kind words and thank you for watching 🤘🏼 Good luck with your build!
You must not wheel much because you would know that you can’t do too much with the stock bed. The departure angle is absolutely terrible. 10 inch bobbed out isn’t much space lost. We still fit a 40” tire, powertank and cooler. Also a wrangler doesn’t have the same wheelbase and has no bed at all so… The truck is built to extreme off-road not fill with groceries. To each their own but that’s our take. You do what works for you.
@@TheregoesActionSports The departure angle is not “absolutely terrible”, it’s just not as good as vehicles with a shorter wheelbase like the Wrangler. Hence I say buy the Wrangler instead since you’re crying for a 90 degree departure angle. So you only have space for a 40 inch tire, a little powerbank and a cooler? So it’s a Wrangler then.😂 The whole point the Gladiator was made is to give you near Wrangler off-road performance but with way more storage and carrying capacity, which is needed on long overlanding trips. Hacking off the bed defeats that purpose.
@@gopolanglekoto ohh so you are a overlander and don’t really rock crawl, gotcha. You must not get it but that’s fine man you do you lol. We are just showing people how much better the Jeep off-roads with a bobbed bed. When the bed was stock there were obstacles we couldn’t do and now that it’s bobbed we have been able to do them. Also you keep saying just get a wrangler then; we have two JLUs. We prefer the Gladiator.
@@TheregoesActionSports heres a crazy Idea, Why cant you bob the bed and then when done rock climbing..make it so you can transform it back to regular? Im sure theres someone who can make that work
@@exiisgaming7870 not a bad idea if someone could figure it out. We just had no need for the whole bed because we just off-road it. If I need to haul stuff it’s in my tow rigs bed.
Man, great video! The explanation and demonstration were fantastic!
The bed looks AWESOME on the rig too!
Appreciate that very much!🤘🏼
AWESOME looking Jeep. I LOVE the wrap. It IS BADASS
@@gerard0l6569 thank you!🙌🏼🙌🏼
Is the 10" out of the frame come from behind the axle I assume? Pretty simple removal?
Yes ten inch right from the back off the frame behind the axle.
Well said and demonstrated!
Thanks fam!🤘🏼
cleanest JT out there!
Thank you🤘🏼

Any updates?
Great video! Thanks for posting it. What hitch skid do you have?
Thank you and it is made by Nemesis Industries, truly the best hitch skid on the market without a doubt!
Can you tow after your bob your frame?
@@cl3826 yeah you can, not sure 100% on how much the specs would change but it’s a gladiator so already doesn’t tow that much so should be fine!
Does anyone know if the road behavior with a 4500lb trailer will change???

Awesome much better for wheeling
For sure, thanks for watching🤘🏼
I prefer stock bed, much more useful storage space. What a waist to bob the bed. Just get a Wrangler then🤷♂
