My one gripe with X3's soundtrack it that I think it overuses the heavy guitars. It's like the core part of most of the songs in the game and after a while it becomes a bit grating to me because it kinda meddles the songs together and makes them less memorable. And that is an opinion of mine that you have just read now. Has nothing to do with the quality of the remix, but game the remix is based off of
Its probably more so the fact that on the SNES the heavy guitar is muddled by the sound chip. What it needed was a more "raw" sound chip, which is exactly what the genesis has.
