    Beautiful! As you expand your colors, please consider more greens in the collection! My favorite, purple, is well represented here, but my next favorite, green, isn’t in equal proportion to the other colors. Thank you! 💚

    I absolutely could not even think of a world without color and love exploring it’s different variations and nuances. I’m super excited to get some of these in my 🤚🏿 I’m really hoping your going to use some of these on fiber.🎉

    I love the concept and am considering using it when I start dying yarn as well.

    I'm literally gonna die when that silk comes out.

    I’d love to see your team’s collections of notes in relation to this process (not expecting to, just saying it would be fascinating). Maintaining meticulous records of not only the ratios of dyes within each mix, but then how it responds across weights of skeins, types of wool/fibre, at different temperatures and applied in different ways. So much work involved in the doing, and in the recording to enable you to continue to deliver what you consider a core part of your mission - hand dyed, but consistent. You deserve the success you have created. Gorgeous collections, amazing hues, and yes - they all work so well. 💜

    The new silk yarn is gorgeous! I can only imagine what it looks like woven. I finally made it to Knit City Vancouver and stopped by the SOS lounge, where you were spinning yarn on a beuatiful, silent, double treddle wheel. Spinning certainly looks therapeutic. I really wanted to see the weaving loom. You kindly demo'd the beautiful Wolf floor loom and of course I want to learn to weave more than ever.

    This is AMAZING!!! I’m so excited to get my hands on your new colors. The idea is genius-I’ve seen other collections with the idea of all the yarns going together, but never the entire color system across all bases. I’m currently having an issue with Apple devices changing how colors appear. I bought what appeared to be two very different colors that turned out to be nearly identical-same hue, but one is cool, the other warm. With your color system, the colors would still go together, and have a discernible difference.
    Thank you so much for all you do! Love, light, and blessings to all of you at SweetGeorgia and yours.

      eventually these colours will expand to other bases. That will require some time testing to make sure the bases present the colours well. Stay tuned!

    I just went on your site to shop yarn. I'm in New York State, and I was curious about the shipping costs from Canada to the US.

    • @sweetgeorgia
      @sweetgeorgia  Рік тому

      For sure we ship worldwide… ultimately the shipping costs will depend on the size and weight of the package. The shop will calculate shipping for you… let me know if I can help at all!

    Hi! What’s that loom you have in the background, the darker wood to your left?

    • @sweetgeorgia
      @sweetgeorgia  Рік тому +1

      That’s the Schacht Baby Wolf in cherry wood 🤩 I got it back in 2009 and so the colour has darkened really beautifully over time 💗

    What type of fiber? Any weaving threads such as 8/2, 3/2, etc.?

      We are working on a 20/2 silk yarn for weaving now. Any requests?

    I think colours to a large extent are a matter of personal taste and our own skin colouring. Unfortunately the majority of colours you demonstrated are not ones that I would wear or buy. I found that my blue toned skin looks best in saturated jewel tones or icy pastels. There are not many choices for either of these in Sweet Georgia yarn.

    Sorry not a fan of this idea. Those colours would go together better in a blanket than they would on a human being, espeically as several of the colour combinations are from clasing parts of the colour spectrum.
