I love this affirmation from Maya Angelou states : On persistence: “We may encounter many defeats, but we must not be defeated.”
So very true Yazmir- one of my favorite things that I heard is: "Only invest in people that invest in you". This is how I screen my friends and I remind myself by that. I also ask myself , is this or are these people who I would trust with my life- If I answer-"No" Then they are eliminated from my list.
My word in 2023 was I am divinely disciplined! 2024 - is I am worthy + I am worthy as I am!

I allow myself for whats called a "ME Day" with no guilt- being that I created a "Me Day Fund".
You had me at Tuxedo Cat.
My goal is to Focus on me".I will remind myself that "NO"! is a complete sentence. I will remind myself that when I say "NO'', That I don't need to explain myself. We can be reminded that the word "no", starts with a capital N and ends with an "O". I often remind myself to ask those that might night understand my way of thinking and ask myself, "what part of "NO" dot hey not understand" the "N or the "O".🤓
My word for the year is Discipline and consistency

My word is “Continuous Overflow”
My right hand still works, " I can still wave goodbye". This is why being debt free is so important to me- I can walk away from a ignorant employer because I have the funds set aside and working on being debt free - allowing me to do this requires that the Emergency Fund be in place.

I am working to erase my credit score to zero to therefore not exist on any credit reports.A credit score is just based off of how much debt you have open and paying off on time or past credit a person once financed. My goal is to pay cash for everything like a house. I can buy a house cash and do whats called " Underwriting". My word for the year was "determination" remember- see my beginning post when we were asked to pick the word for the year at the beginning of this video/. David Ramsey once stated that "our biggest wealth building tool is to pay cash and not borrow for nothing".

I have a question I am almost finished with my $1,000 emergency. My question is should I continue to add money to my emergency fund while I'm paying off debt I owe approximately still $18,000 in debt now where I started out at 38000 in April of 2020?
Yes continue to save for an emergency. For example let's say you lose your job but at least you will have money saved up. Try to save at least $ 10,000.00 if you can't do it then save $3,000.
