I'm thinking of you, Kimberly & everyone here living with mental illness. I live with OCD & panic disorder & have been hospitalised twice. I consider myself lucky that the disorders I have, even though they're extremely debilitating at times, can go away. I pray and send healing hugs to everyone. Ty for sharing your story, Kimberly 🙏🏻
Throughout my life I have always been warned about looking too far ahead in the future precisely because it can lead to anxiety. There have been quite a few situations in which I couldn't see any way through and yet in each case I was able to not just persevere but come out stronger, and I'm sure the same will happen for you. I basically try to make each new day as stress-free as possible by practicing self-care and accept whatever level of productivity can be achieved within those limits. I am glad your experience in the psych ward was not too bad and am happy to see you back.
Glad to see you again! I too have a lot of existentional fears because I have disability because of schizophrenia but what I get from the state isn’t a lot and I am afraid what will be when my parents die because they support me. I hope you recover soon ❤
Hi Kimberly, I am new to your channel but I had to comment because I feel so similarly to what you're feeling - worried about money and worried about supporting ourselves as people with sometimes invisible disabilities. I am Bipolar 2 and I have only recently started experiencing auditory hallucinations. The job I'm in right now has become extremely toxic (all of my coworkers are fed up with management and ready to walk out). I can't afford to quit, but I also can't afford to stay in this toxic environment. You are not alone in this stress and struggle!
It's very interesting how one can become psychotic, even while taking meds. I have been on amisulpride for 2 years now, and last night i became psychotic out of nowhere. Really weird. Then i slept a little bit and took my meds, and today i'm completely fine again. Schizophrenia is weird (ಠಿ_ಠ) but yeah, i'm glad you're back bome. Good luck with the haldol, keep us updated 🙂
Thank you for your oppenness about your illness. It takes a lot of courage and I'm sure your helping people with your channel. Keep on the good work. 🐱
I'm so happy you are home ❤️ we have different mental health issues but our needs for self-care are so similar. I relate to your energy level and the need to preserve energy for important things. The need to eliminate things that cause high stress in life. Taking our recovery seriously. You can tell Edward is really happy to have his mommy back home ❤️❤️❤️
I am so glad you are back home. I hope you know what an inspiration you are to me and so many others. Never forget that you are an artist. The way you express yourself, film and edit your personal experiences is an art form in itself.
Kimberly, you are a wonderful person. Many people with Schizophrenia, especially women, put up with too much. All that has an impact on your mental and physical health, especially immune problems. There is a very insightful book, called "The Myth of Normal" by Dr. Gabor Mate, which is highly recommended. Keep taking care of yourself, and everything in due time.

Hi 🙋🏻♀️Kimberly from Italy ~ you are so sweet! & your English Grammar is better than most British/American/Australian Bloggers😂.... I just loved your "the turn in the middle of the night..." Ha-Ha (it's not actually correct English but you've invented a great new expression❤)
Amazing you can do a vlog after all that so soon. I know how uncertain future and financial things can affect well being. In Finland they decided to cut benefits concerning living costs. I'm also worried if I can keep my rent apartment. I have to write reasons why the apartment is something I need. It's difficult to be depending on support of society so much. I have lived in my apartment since I last got out of psych ward. When I was in psychosis I gave up my apartment and didn't have a place to live in. So I was in the psych ward for longer than usual. I think we who have mental health troubles shouldn't have to worry so much about financial issues. It's something I understand well. I hope you can find your way to the art school. Art is so good and needed in the world. And also cats like Edward.
thank you! And yes, I was very tired in this as you could probably tell but I really needed some sense of normalcy. 😊 Thats really sad, what happens if they decide it's not needed with an apartment? 🥲
Oh no, home security is so important for all people, but especially disabled people. Can you get your therapist and doctors to write letters on your behalf about how important having your apartment is?
@@Kimberly_Viktoria Well my apartment is crossing the cost level because I have a dishwasher and a sauna. The apartment is not very big but both the dishwasher and sauna help me in my everyday life. I didn't wash dishes very often before but now it helps me keep the kitchen clean. Sauna helps me relax as I don't or can't use alcohol. I just came from the sauna now and watched your vlog. We even had a sauna in one of the psych wards. They haven't yet directed me to a cheaper apartment but I read a news story where one person had doctor's written justification why the person needed to stay in the apartment he or she had lived for a long time but in that case it didn't help. I felt a lot of anxiety when I found out my apartment crossed the limit of living costs. I had anger in my mind towards the decision makers of the current right wing government. For now I can stay in my apartment but the benefits have been cut by a significant amount. I got some food support from my mom and aunt. I have been for example paying for things like Adobe software because I have education in arts and media. Mostly photography. I then asked to start a 4 month long trial of doing business in photography and did some ID photos for people in a small area of my town. It didn't provide much income but now my case is under review. I hope I can begin to do some photography on the side. If not then I'm possibly going to do half day work in the library via the help of a clubhouse. The clubhouse is for mental health rehabilitation people and it's also under financial cuts because the current government decided to cut from the 3rd section of non-profit organizations etc. I hope to be able to recover and be able to work full time but that's always taking a lot of energy and my mental health has declined when doing full time work. I still get support and benefits but there's always shame and anxiety over being dependent on society's support. It helps to know I'm not alone
@@mikkosuhonenphotography Oh thats so sad, I have read that saunas can be very beneficial for mental health so and I also could use a dishwasher due to having a hard time with the dishes... its important to be in a clean environment. We sadly also have a right wing government right now and they're cutting everything with welfare and health care sadly. I hope you'll get some work with photography, you're very good from what I have seen here on UA-cam. 😊 I also hope to do something worth while soon either job or art school but just as with you, I can't do full-time without getting very ill...

Hello my dear, There are so many of us that are truly fond of you. This video is just as wonderful as all the others you have made. I'm glad you are back home with your cats. We really need more research to learn more about schizophrenia and psychosis. I have heard it is a spectrum condition with varying types of recovery. Some people recover well, bumps along the way, some people have poor recovery, others in between. I have seen that stress exacerbates symptoms and that keeping one's life fairly stress free helps. Your concern (stress) about the changes in your SSI made me wonder about the government's policies--what perspective or philosophy is behind the changes they make once a person reaches a certain age. Why is the financial support lowered and who does this apply to? Does it apply to everyone with a disability? Or does it only apply to certain types of disability? Why do they make this change and age limit? Sending love.

Whoa Haldol can have a bunch of short term side effects so please be careful.
Hej!
💚😻tack! ☺️
I like to listen to you.
thank you! 💚

Omg!! Are you a Sabaton fan?!?!

Hello, do you mind if I ask what antidepressant caused psychosis for you? Thank you 🙂
Bupropion. 🤔
Benzodiazepines CAN make you physically DEPENDENT not only addictive but dependent meaning your body does not accept when stopped and very bad withdrawal effect occur. I am going right now through end of taper and its soo frustrating and I have musclepain and gi issues. So please yes do not take any tranquilizer longer than 1- maximum 2 days. Yes 2 days and NOT MORE! BIG BIG WARNING. I have gone through a lot with medications so I am talking from the ❤. Please take my advice!
Thank you I know! Luckily I haven't needed it since a month or so and even then I used it very sparely. I wish you well! 💚
Hi Kimberly, I just recently started watching your videos. I want to suggest swimming to you to help with the weight. Swimming is fun and effective for weight loss. Ok bye, take care.
Thank you! 🥰
I REALLY don't see a psych ward putting more than one in a ROOM especially with new admitties , but whatever,
Welcome back from the psyche ward. Hope this helps you out a bit.
@@r.d.machinery3749 oh wow thank you so much for the superthanks!!! 🥹💚💚💚
Why do they feel compelled to speak english?
Welcome back! Thanks for posting. I think people like you! It's rude though to talk to your cats while we are listening to you.
What a rude comment, if you don't like it then don't watch it.
thats okay, I usually talk to them so they don't interrupt with lots of meowing and of course out of habit. :)
@@Kimberly_ViktoriaI really like that you talk to your kitties! You’re so kindhearted to respond to them ❤
thank you! since I talk to them at the daily its definitely a habit and one I won't stop doing. 😁💚
You’re obviously not an animal person….
Haldol gave me pacing called Akathisia. Very uncomfortable. That was on a very low dose.
Hello sweet heart❤❤❤❤
