    I finally finished my version of this! Its fabulous. I have it on a dewalt jobsite saw. The infeed support is SOOOO good. I did make some changes. I added Jessem stock guides on the top. And for mounting it, i screwed a metal plate to the back of the existing fence and then used a mag switch to lock it down. Its more expensive, but it REALLY locks it down and is just one switch to latch and unlatch. Thanks for the inspiration!

    Having 1 arm/leg, I've been looking for a way to mount board buddies to my small dewalt... this might do the trick.
    Now, show me how to get a flat table, and Dewalt might actually become a decent saw.

    Very nice! I like the shelf at the front to help support stock. I had an idea to make something like this, but embed a T-track in it so you can use those new wheeled stock guides that push down and into the fence. Really great build, I'll be sure to borrow some of your ideas!

    That is nice and well built, but I get by with two fence clamps and two holes drilled into a piece of 3/4 inch stock. The aux. fence sticks over the front edge about 10 inches and allows me to start large pieces of sheet stock by myself, and i dont have to worry about something that large to store.

      @carpentak  Рік тому

      아닙니다. 이것은 조기대 길이를 늘려서 작업을 편하게 하기 위함 입니다. 치수 차이가 난나는건 장비의 구조적인 문제 같습니다. 스텐리를 안써봐서 잘은 모르겠습니다. 제 디월트는 그런 문제가 없습니다.

      Acrylic has a smooth surface and glides well. It has a longer lifespan than plywood. Another problem with wood is that it deforms depending on temperature and humidity. So acrylic is good for fences. If possible, it would be better to use aluminum.
