I feel so bad for her, because at the end of the day what it really came down to was her look. I know we all know she's a cutie pie, and she definitely has charisma. But while some of the people who made the final cut had different talents (singing, dancing, etc.), I think what killed it for her was that she didn't meet their rigid standard of looks for the group. Even talented people like Chaeyeon BARELY scraped by with the final spot, which is INSANE considering how multi-talented she is. It's such a shame when you see really great people get overlooked, and I think that the fact that she kept ranking low despite her obvious talent really hit at her confidence a bit at times. I hope she keeps trying and gets a shot, she really deserves a solid debut.

But people complain because these groups always end up with some people who strictly get into the group due to their visuals and not much else. So yes, there is a point to complain about.
People really are confusing talent to charisma. Her talent is top notch no question. The thing is, no one wanted to see her on stage. Don't even give me crap about koreans only caring about looks, because that is actually bullshit. Her looks have very little to do with her not debuting. Right now, at this moment, she had no "talent" in being an IDOL. She can dance and sing, but so what. An idol is to deliver their music in a way that allows audience to enjoy the stage and make their audience listen to their song by providing fan service or whatever. Being able to dance and sing just helps a person achieving popularity, it doesn't make you an idol. What is most important in stage charm and aura. Sakura and Wonyoung overflows with that, and Sakura isn't even pretty in Korean standards. What she does and her actions makes her seem as if she's the prettiest in produce48. I'm sorry, but until she works on her stage charm, I'm not gonna say she deserves to debut.

I don’t know what to say anymore, she’s my favorite in first sight, not just because her cute, but her dance and her voice. She’s the definition of IDOL . And I just hope she will get what she hopes, her future must be so bright with those talents. I put so much my hope on her , I hope she could be in the final line up but her destiny something different :’). I hope she’ll always gain loves from people 😁☺️

I followed Produce 48 since the beginning and tbh I thought she was one of those girls that is going to be very popular because she is really young and such a well rounded trainee. Such a shame she got eliminated:( I was rooting for her

For everyone hating on Wonyoung for this, please stop. I think we can all agree that this season wasn't very fair, but what's done is done. All the trainees on Produce48 were talented, it would've been a good group no matter what. Wonyoung did absolutely nothing except try her best, the same as everyone else, so please do not give her hate for this. Support both IZone and all the trainees who didn't make it!
