I have this treadmill. No frills, but it's good quality and an effective workout. I also walk outside and on the motorized treadmills at the gym, this is more strenuous than both and probably burns more calories. Outside walking is casual/easy, with a motorized treadmill - the motor helps do the work. This treadmill is at an incline and the track moves based on nothing but your effort. 10 - 15 minutes and you're sweating good.
Agreed! For a basic piece of equipment it works really well!
@@jsamzreviews I have mine in a small office area. The ability to fold it up and move it out of the way is great. Only takes about 2 feet x 1.5 feet of floor space when folded.
That’s perfect!
Black friday is coming so I was thinking about getting a motorized treadmill but I'm tight on space and I think this one might be it. How many inches off the floor is the peak of the incline?
@GetUnwoke just a few. You can see it in the video. It’s a great basic treadmill. Not sure if there is a black Friday special on it, but the link is in the description.
I bought this last yr and love it. Much harder, ( for me anyway,) than a motorized 1. 1 question tho..what kind of oil can I use to lubricate the belts? The oil I had is gone, ( most of it somehow spilled..ugh.)
Silicone oil should work
Just assembled ours and when I get on it’s like I’m in ice, the tread moves way too fast , there is zero resistance. I have a bad back and need to keep my spine straight, I have no control on this. Perhaps it’s faulty? When you get on yours, I see it doesn’t move until you actually start walking?
It’s controlled by how you lean in or against it
Have the exact same thing. As far as how fast it goes is solely based on you, correct?
Yes there is no motor so you are essentially pushing it forward
Is there a way to adjust the resistance and a way to adjust belt tracking? I've read reviews where people had trouble with the belt moving to one side and rubbing against the frame. Nice review though :)
No
Can you run on this treadmill? I’m trying to get more steps in during my day, but hoping to get back to running again after 4 years of zero running.
It’s not necessarily designed for that but might be able to handle a light jog. I wouldn’t recommend it.
if you're wanting to walk/light jog, look into a motorized unit. Something like the Xterra trx2500 or the horizon fitness t101 is great for light jogging due to its 2.5 chp motor. Not recommended for full on running, but those machines are great for light jogging. The running machines have around 3-3.5 chp motors and are going to cost you a pretty penny. These manual units are just for getting some extra steps in throughout the day.
Have you tried kneesovertoesguy walking backwards on this wondering if it would work?
Yeah it would absolutely. Once you get it moving it glides smooth. I’d get it going forward first.
Looking at this trendmill for exactly the same, given my 2 ACL surgeries
It is manual so it does take a good push to get started. The link is in the description if you decide to pick it up. I think it’s great.
Exactly why I bought it. Because of Brian Patrick knee over toe method. Just tore my acl and meniscus in September. I'm trying to avoid surgery by strengthening muscle around the knee. I pray I can get the running belt adjusted to more tension/tighten. Right now, I can not afford Brian's treadmill right now.
@@shorteria39 how has it worked so far for walking backwards?
Can we put it directely on the floor to walk without the level up ?
There is only one setting
@@jsamzreviews ok Thanks
Hi, what type of wrench did you use?
Sorry I built this a long time ago and don’t remember
If I wanted it for my desk, could I adjust it?
You cannot
No IOS fitness app attached ?
I wonder if one can be installed.
There is barely any tech on it at all.
Sooo..can we have it on floor level as well as upright??
No sure what you mean by this
I think they mean can you lower the incline (tilt)
From what I’ve read, it’s a fixed incline?
It's a fixed incline.
From what I understand, these treadmills need to be at an angle due to it being manual, it needs to use your body weight to start the motion. You could probably put something underneath the legs to lessen the incline a bit.
@GetUnwoke it certainly does help since you are essentially pushing it forward
if u had to do it all over again would buy the same exact unit?
Yeah it’s great
Do you find that you have to make an effort to walk differently to fits on the narrow bands? Or do you not even notice? When I put a ruler on the ground, it seems like I’d have to go out of my way to walk on such a narrow band.
Not at all, but I’m a runner so maybe it has something to do with it
Is it still working properly
Yes
Do you recommend? Im on the fence.
It’s a great option
I want to buy this treadmill how I can get
There is a link in the description
Do you have to use the handles?
No not at all
Do I need special tools to put this together?
No nothing out of the ordinary!
@@jsamzreviewsok so it comes with the tools I need?
Very responsive in the comment I hope you can help me get some quick answers. (These 3 question cover everything I need to know)
Q1.think it's possible to lay it on the floor without incline stands? Is thier enough clearance beneath for it to work?
Q2. Is thier enough traction to get it to move forward whilst treadmill (is on the floor) without the incline stands?
Q3. Think it's possible to equalise the back of the treadmill with wooden beams or whatever whilst the incline supports are attached. (So that it is in a horizontally flat position)
I will defiantly sub if you can help answer these questions. Thanks
Q1 no
Q2 only one setting
Q3 wouldn’t recommend
@@jsamzreviews thanks subbed
@trulgn ♥️
Does it make an annoying sound whike using it?
It does not
And how much I am in Kuwait
Not sure
should be stood on the other side of the box when demonstrating to an audience, the presenters body is blocking the view.
I’ll take your feedback intonconsideration

Not an option for everyone
