Ich bin Studentin (f). = I’m a student.
Ich bin Angestellte (f). = I’m an employee.
Ich bin selbstständig. = I’m self-employed.
Ich bin verheiratet. = I am married.
Ich bin nicht verheiratet. = I am not married.
Ich reise alleine. = I am travelling alone.
Ich reise nicht alleine. = I am not travelling alone.
Ich reise mit... = I’m travelling with...

Here is the translation. I hope that helps!
die Vorstellung = the introduction
Ich heiße... = My name is...
Ich komme aus Deutschland. = I’m from Germany.
Ich komme aus Österreich. = I’m from Austria.
Ich komme aus der Schweiz. = I’m from Switzerland.
Ich bin 20 Jahre alt. = I’m 20 years old.

"Ich bin Studentin" should be translated as "I'm a (female) student." Nevertheless, this is a great job! I ♥ LinguaTV

Certain countries have an article like ,,die Schweiz (singular), die USA / Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika (plural), der Iran (singular)" etc. in German. Most don't though. The phrase ,,Ich komme aus..." contains ,,aus" which is a dative preposition. If an article precedes the country, you have to change it to the correct dative article, paying attention to singular and plural as well. So: Ich komme aus der Schweiz. Ich komme aus dem Iran. Ich komme aus den USA. **But** Ich komme aus Amerika. (there is no article for Amerika on its own) Ich komme aus Deutschland.

@Dtiger02 "ich komme aus DER kanada" would be totally wrong. "ich komme aus schweiz" makes sense, but this sounds weird. you say "ich komme aus DER schweiz" or "die schweiz" because switzerland is a confederation. for example you also say "ich komme aus DER USA", "die USA"

Btw. I dont have the keys on my keyboard. In Norwegian most peoples can the words but dont say it in a special tone. Btw i only find it wierd not funny.... :P No worries I aint taking it bad. =)

It would be more useful to teach the German for other countries - surely the people from Switzerland, Germany and Austria know how to say this!
