Thank you so much you know when I first arrived to do some ice machine cleaning at a certain gas station today I actually came across L on the screen so thankfully your video was able to help me get that unlocked in order for me to be able to turn off The ice machine disassemble and reassemble its parts after cleaning in the sink and then running it through clean mode then putting it back in ice making mode as well as putting it on L in the end
Thanks for these videos. Every winter the city adds something in our water that precipitates out on cold surfaces as yellow crystals. We have 13 ice machines of various makes.. only two of them prodigys but they are in two of the highest volume hardest to access locations.
Thank you this was exactly what I was looking for i have nickel coating flaking off my coil and getting stuck to the ice is this common with these or the result of in proper maintenance And should i have just the coil replaced or would it be better to replace the hole head the unit is only 8 years old thanks for your help
I’m sure you’ve resolved your issues with the Scotsman ice machine. To address your questions, the nickel flaking is a result of using chlorine (bleach) to sanitize the machine . Always use a nickel safe cleaner. The average life of a commercial-industrial ice machine is 7 to 10 years. If you haven’t already, I would replace the ice machine as the cost to replace the evaporator is approximately two thirds the cost of a new machine.
hello sir,,i am a new technician...i have problem encounter with this scotsman, same model that your video is showing,,would you mind if i ask something, i really appreciate if you could give me some idea,,,the problem is when the machine is in the harvest cycle it takes to long,,and the machine stops, it shows 5 and 8 and the machine stop,,sometimes bin is full but dont have any ice,,can you englighten me what is the problem sir ,,,thank you so much
F = Freeze cycle F flashes = Freeze cycle is pending H = Harvest cycle H flashes = Manual harvest b = Bin is full C = Clean cycle L = Locked board d = Test mode - = Manual purge 0 = Off E = Self test failure 1 flashes = Max freeze - Retrying 1 = Max freeze time shutdown 2 flashes = Max harvest - Retrying 2 = Max harvest time shutdown 3 = Slow water fill 4 = High discharge temperature 5 = Sump temperature sensor failure 6 = Reserved 7 = Discharge temperature sensor failure 8 flashes = Short freeze - Retrying 8 = Short freeze - Thin ice
DUDE YOUR A ROCK STAR. YOU DONT KNOW HOW MUCH THIS HELPED!
Super helpful video series! Thank you.

I know this is a old video but mine won't let me set the clean indicator
De qué medidas son los sensores de esa maquina
I get number 2 flashes after 15 mints i start, how should i fix this problem?
Can't get freeze cycle from 8 to 1?
Hi I have a prodigy Scotsman C022SA, I cleaned it out yesterday but now it has stopped harvesting ice and flashed code 2? Any advice on how to fix it?
Did it end up being the Ice thickness probe?
Thanks for sharing.
Is it possible to make the machine do a manual purge of the water trough?
I am added one today that will cover it. Thanks!
Charles PEN can you show how to get the yellow descale-sanitize light to turn off?
Thanks!
Este fabricador me arroja el error 2, cuénteme si esto es el selenoide que impulsa la plancha de hielo
Flashing 2 what is the reason
Disculpe sería bueno que lo traduzcan en español
What's code 2 flash means?
El que impulsa el molde de hielo
I want solid ice not thin
Keeps flashing 8
