Something I will say about Desenio is that the artists of the world are not featured/get any credit. Also, a lot of the work is generic prints. I would like to see ppl supporting their local artists rather than big faceless companies. Just a thought ❤️

I'm in uni in Toronto, Canada. All universities here are doing almost everything online, never thought I'd be saying this but I kinda miss my campus :(
Well consider yourself lucky lol. Im a freshman studying in the University of Manchester and we are currently doing everything online. I never had an in campus teaching and I dont even know when I will get to have one...
I am grateful for the olive oil and rosemary sourdough that I get from the farmers market. It's the little things that pull us through!

At my city's university they have a mixed plan: they divided some classes by half and one week the first half has classes there and the other half has online and then they switch. This way they have fewer people on campus and they can control better who got in touch with whom, if someone tests positive - this is Portugal, where we're not doing very well atm :(

Hiya, I am back at UNI, but I am studying medicine so we had to come back in the middle of the pandemic. We have to wear full PPE everyday and that is crazy... Library only opened this week its been hell without it! but yea, the rest of uni (non heath sciences is still totally online and everyone is working from home) no in person teaching at all... this is in SA University of Cape Town

Your friends should be proud of you, you are alive, you are making progress so don't be harsh on yourself, you are worth it , there is light , my friends left me when I was depressed & suicidal , you deserve quality and if your friends are supportive then thanks God you have supportive friends & I wish you all the best xx!

Hey, so Scotland has been the first country to make sanitary napkins and stuff free, could you like talk about it and if you've had any experience with it
it's very nice. I am so used to free period products at school and stuff I have forgotten what it is like not to have them. It is not all completely free but we are nearly there. We also have free condoms in schools and clinics :) :) What is like in your country ? I am from Scotland btw
@@dibbless2145 Honestly that sounds AMAZING! We have to pay for hygiene articles in Germany and they are not the cheapest things to get tbh but in the beginning of the year they lowered the taxes so we have to pay a bit less than before.
Hopefully she does! But in general (I also go to Edin uni) everyone I know stocks up every time we use uni toilets since they always have loads on hand there, so handy and useful!

Making tea - chops up lettuce - that confused me so much
In the UK they call dinner 'tea'. The first time I heard a Brit say 'I was eating my tea' I nearly fell off my chair laughing 😅
@@agatatomicka8537 it's very confusing. In the north of England they call dinner "tea" and they call lunch "dinner". The staff who work at school and help the kids at lunchtime are called "dinner ladies". In the south of England we say "lunch" and "dinner". It's interesting because Nayna is from London (in southern England) so I'm not sure why she says tea not dinner!

Yeah they are! I'm from Scotland and did my undergrad in Edinburgh. The place in the video is Arthur's Seat which is a walk from the city centre not the shortest walk but in the city centre right on Princes Street (the main street) there is Calton Hill as well as Princes Street Gardens and loads of green spaces all around Edinburgh

I’m studying music and we only have about 4 online hours a week but we are allowed to rehearse in person which I’m grateful for!! Our library is closed though :(

OMG literally same - I have only 2 hours of online contact per week though... everything else is pre-recorded. I am lucky enough to have 2 hours in person (although its every other week as our music cohort has been split into smaller socially distanced groups). Can't wait to start being able to have the large ensembles/orchestras back!

I’m in college in Dublin, it’s 100% online for me except for one practical session I have in November, finding the screen time massive. Lectures on screen, study on screen it’s just a lot. Same, have to book library if I want to go, I try go once a week just to get out of the house! It’s not ideal but it’s okay x
