Bellemy wasn't there for Earth skills. So how did he learn Morse code. He wasn't part of the original 100. He shot the chancellor in order to sneak on the ship. He wasn't a prisoner.
They all had earth skills in school. Pike mentioned in season 3 that Clarke was his best student and she didn't take the class with the other Skybox kids
I only remember this because I watched the ep a few days ago but Bellamy explains in this episode that when Pike was running Arcadia he drilled morse code into them.
He grew up on the ark and likely took Pike class 6 years earlier then the other kids. Internet list his age being 23 so Pike was probably teaching earth skill class since Bellamy was a teenager or even before he was a teenager. The season after this he mentioned that he learned some things form Pike.
I think everyone on the Ark had Earth skills lessons. It was only with the 100 that they had to rush through and focus on only the really important things
