I finally cleaned mine yesterday for the first time. It was incredibly dirty! I would only recommend this method if you have an air compressor to thoroughly dry everything afterwards. After the drying i sprayed wd40 and all the screws and other things that might rust and just wiped everything with a rag. the whole process took a lot longer than i wanted but it's clean and still works.
100% agree, this is not the best option, and I takes time, imagine I was going to do it the right way, whole day cleaning RCs I dont have that time. LOL
I personally won’t clean my Rc Cars with electronics inside. I also would remove the tires and a few other bits to make the process better

i just use compressed air in my garage once or twice a month.
That is right compressed air helps a lot.
I just wipe my son traxxas down with a wet rag it’s not that serious my guy
