The ‘86 Mets had green throughout the season, even had it in the NLCS. But when they played in the WS the same year, they switched to grey.
Been into fitteds casually since the 2000s, wondered why they were coming back so hyped these days, great history lesson man

I personally fuck with a black nasty. Been wearing Braves caps since 2005. The OG blue and red is my go to. And Dodger hats look way better with a black bottom. But I’ve recently stocked up on pink bottoms cause New Era had Mother’s Day caps on sale. I’m set.
No hat patches until 1996 World Series (no patches at all until 1987)

I only fw green or grey.. I use to work at Lids in high school back in like 2007.. we had all colored under brims.. this is nothing new at all ! But i will say these anniversary hats changed the game up a lil bit! But i still only like green or grey bottoms !
