  • In today's video I process some high bay light and recover some nice copper transformers. The Copper King makes light work of them in 30 minutes. Just think, when they get as fast cracking and removing copper from those stators like they do with the transformers.

Please don’t think that I am trying to belittle the way you do things. I myself have never had a machine to help me it’s all been done by hand. Never anything as big as what you deal with. I may HINT at something but never try to tell you outright what to do. 👍

@ProjectShopFl unfortunately it is. There is some copper and brass, but I'll be lucky if I get my money back on it. I really figured with it being as old as it is, it'd be all copper

You call that number two copper. My dealer calls anything motor/winding related number 3.
Also if the copper pipe is not bright and shiny he calls it number two.
However he also gives me number two for anything with solder on it.

    • @ProjectShopFl

Anything with solder is #2 anywhere, copper pipe id not bright is still #1 and copper windings from motors and transformers is #2 all day. They are ripping you off.

I wonder what Project Shop Florida is going to do if he gets a lot of waterproof motor stators encased in ceramic or plastic. I just cleaned 4 of them, 1 left, & yes, it takes too long to hammer all the casing off. Maybe a hammer mill?
