Usul : All words of Quran are taken on it's Apparent real Meaning unless another verse of hadith explains it.
Proof : Quran 3 :7 & Quran 6 :82 Tafsir - Bukhari 4629, Tafsir
2. Ibadah, worship. 5 pillars of Islam.
Principle : All worship is haram until there is a sunna for it -
Proof : Hadith Aisha in 40 hadith Nawawi & Bukari 2697, book Peacemaking & Muslim 1718, book Judicial Decision.
3. Adab or manners. 4 pillar hadith acc. to ibn Rajab - speak good or be silent, what for your brother what you want for yourself, leave alone what doesn't concern you, do not get angry. (40 Hadth Nawawi)
Usul : there is no obedience to creation over the Creator
Proof : Quran 31 : 13 & Sahih Muslim, book of G0V
4. Trade. 5 forbidden categories - Rbah (Quran 2.275), unethical (Quran 4.29), chance (Quran 5.90), time/place (Quran 62), haram itself - hawayan, idols, khamrism (sahih M. 1581, kitab trade), Znah, & f0rtune telling. (Bukhari 2237, kitab trades)
Principle: all in dunya or trade is halal until proven haram.
Proof : Quran 6.119, Quran 6.145 tafsir, Quran 7.32.
As a revert, I 100% agree. The world makes much more sense now.

Over 50 years of age, I undertook a 4 years program of Islamic sciences studies. I discovered oceans of knowledge, oceans of Muslim scholars. I discovered I was so ignorant of my religion. May Allah forgive us our lack of focus on our personal islamic education . It is a shame. But as they say : "Never too late to do good" We have a very rich, a very well documented religion since its start. Alhamdu li Llahh.

It's not on line program. We are lucky in my country to have many schools or centers offering those classroom courses almost free of fees taught by knowledgeable professors. Alhamdo li Llahh. The main thing is to search for islamic education in any mean to enhance our eeman .

Wallahi this is so true and this my story. When i was young and flagued by their self help books, and their emotional pep talks. i almost killed myself, mutalated my fitrah and i accomplised nothing. Then i was siezed and fell into prostration 3 years ago. Now i feel human again. I can vouch for this. they dont know anything about Nafsiyat niether about the world and niether about God.

Having grown up in the Bible Belt of the US, I've never had much exposure to Islam. However, I have begun learning about it some, and I must say that so far I'm quite enamoured. It is so beautiful and resonates very much with my own personal beliefs, where Christianity never did. Thank you for briging such a profound revelation into my life!

As someone in Malaysia who achieved independence from British 70 years ago, I testify that I am seeing what Shahid is saying. The post-independent generation viewed worldly education as far more important than religious knowledge. Only children who were not suitable to pursue western education were sent to religious school, who later became "religious teachers" in their community.
And today I am seeing a muslim society who are very proficient in worldly knowledge in developing our country but sadly aren't able to distinguish authentic hadis or weak hadis, a sunnah or bid'ah in their ibadah.
Those with sound religious knowledge who try bring about changes and criticise the old ways will be viewed as extreme, wahhabi, Arab wannabes etc.
Success and progress is when you talk, think and walk like westerners. Fake it till you make it, they say.
and after they so called who are very proficient in worldly knowledge many of them follow ayah pin teaching.... Their has such a high degree and yet follow a crazy man 🤣🤣

We need to do more, keep learning about the Dunya because Allah’s bounty. But also learn to truly understand Dunya, through the best manual which is the Quran.

About the consequnces part, honestly speaking as someone who got formal eduction in science, technology and had the chance to educate myself on various social sciences I really feel the effect of this in my own life. It really is incredibly difficult for me to care about what the so-called religious leaders/thinkers in our societies say about anything because unfortunately their ignorance regarding all kinds of topics are bltantly obvious to me now. I cannot unsee what I see. This have pushed me into a direction where I am not following my own religious doctrine

Religion is not what the west think it is! Its existence is explained (Islam- Quran) to us by the Creator of Existence (Allah) 🤲.
I had this exact conversation 4 years ago with a young brother. He watched a UA-cam video of a Unitarian pastor talking about Salah and demonstrating the positions. She made it sound like she was admiring Islam. She was not. She was really equating Islam with all the other major and minor religions and types of worship. This is the biggest danger to Islam from the West.
The societal push for equity & inclusion creates mediocrity. Excellence is no longer recognized in anything. Everything should be the same - no standouts. The goal is to pull everything - education, religion, etc down to the same level. This is subtle, seductive, insidious and its dangerous.

@@TimothySoloman I found this filled with many false claims. The Quran does address slavery in number of verses. We wouldn’t find the Quran though addressing it through a blanket ban but rather systematically and gradually ensuring the eradication of it which is evident on the Islamic history. Yes, truth stands alone and objective truths do exist, just like we all agree that the Sun is factually located somewhere in the sky.
