Hello Simpilots,
this time I wanted to share a longer mission with you guys that we flew with a 2 ship in the eastern Arabab Emirates (persian gulf map). Let me know if you enjoy longer episodes with more comms.
Actually I was a little underwhelmed by the new petrovich AI behavior where he didnt find any targets to attack although they where directly infront of him.
We got a little bold or brave in the end but had to learn from it. Hope you enjoy.
If you want to fly with us, please check out:

I enjoyed communication and new external camera so much. Thank you for nice teamwork flying. Long live DCS
Oh cool you recognized the new camera? Yeah I tested it out and there is quite a lot movement you have with it now as well. Thanks for letting me know.
Beautiful video ! Comms, camera angles, action, everything is perfect ! Subbed ! Inspiring videos on the channel.
Much appreciated viperup! Thanks a lot - hope that you finde the upcoming videos as well!
Great video! Editing and all... great stuff, thanks for sharing!
Thank you 🙏 😊. It’s a beautiful game and flying those sorties with a team is just what makes this game great if you ask me. Also thanks for reaching out.
What this really provides over other DCS content is the capacity to educate. It has great camera work of course but can act as a training video too. We all love the epic action of a DCS short of course but this is the real game play experience! For my upcoming learning on the Mi-24 I will surely refer to it. Great choice of music where did you get the inspiration? :)
Couple of things to consider, can you boost your microphone pre or post production? It was a little quiet, also I fully recommend applying a re-shade as it can work wonders for colour correction/vibrancy and sharpness, all to your own taste of course.
Hey mate! Thanks for the comment. The radio calls are quite interesting although not always 100% on point - as it probably is similar to real life aviation. I am happy to help you with videos like this to learn the Mi24 and how to kill things better :D .
Apart from that, I am aware of the sound issues and try to come up with a solution soon.
“The question is, how can that thing still fly?”
“Just too good.”
That’s the hardest thing I’ve ever heard.
We love those helos! 🤣
Let's gooo. Love this!
Thanks for reaching out, much appreciated - It was a nice scenario really. Luckily we where left a lone a little - hope to experience more cool sorties on your server.
Your left side is what's used for attack. Notice the better view when attacking or looking to the left out the windows.
.
Absolutely, also during turns the helo rolls/breaks easier to the left then to the right because of the way the tail rotor is mounted. So left is preferred for the mi24.
Very good fight, guys. I also fly on Tempest. Good luck.
Hey buddy, thanks. I think this narrated frontline brings some more teamplay to the table. What do you think? I love the long campaigns to be honest.
I just got into DCS and this video wants me to play it even more now!
Yeah man! Infected by the DCS virus - it’s just great and helo gameplay is in my opinion a very immersive and intense experience compared to those long range BVR engagements from fixed wings. Welcome friend!
Magnificent video, cinematography and soundtrack! Love the external views!
Much appreciated. I will hope to bring you more of these sceneries in the future. :)
Quick heads up, your voice often is much quieter than the radio chatter voice volume. Otherwise, great vid
Sorry about that. It was the recording but I hope to get things sorted out in the future.
Great video. I feel like that Fujairah residential area is especially difficult for helos
Thanks buddy. Residential areas are always making me uneasy to fly over in DCS. A lot of things can be hidden down there :)
Beautiful flying and great team work!
Thanks Darko - hope you enjoy the other episodes as well.
@@helldivermando Now cheking!
Great vid good communication. that map is unforgiving with the air defense.
Hey solid, thank again. Yeah the SAM / AD is quite tough but its the most fun thing to fly up against if you ask me. Have you been flying on tempest lately? They increased the turbulance quite a bit and it feels wrong at the moment - maybe they will change it back.
@@helldivermando I have not since the apache mate keen to get on this weekend!!
This looks AWESOME!!!!
Hahaha! Thank you mate, I was flying as a wingman with a very good DCS pilot leading.
@@helldivermandoI presume this is only on PC?
Nice video.
Shouldn't you cut your racetracks short of the airfield? Overflying the target does nothing for you, but it helps the other guy.
I start my runs low, bump up when the weapons are in constraints, and break them off with a diving turn when I am about 1km out. Then exfil with your belly to the ground, trying to put hard cover or concealment between you and the enemy. Switch SP's (and vectors) between runs, which forces the enemy to scan and traverse, rather than wait for you where you popped up last time.
That approach takes more patience, and you have to train your long distance marksmanship, but it greatly improves your survivability. You're only breaking cover during the acquisition and attack.
Yes you are absolutely right. We got a little too brave there which ended up almost with lead going down. :)
We mostly flew the high attack because we where hoping for petrovich to wake up again.
Love the rotor wars videos
thanks buddy and cool that you recognize the style of those videos. In the end I decided to not call this a "rotor wars" but it could be one for sure. :D
abo is raus! great stuff!
Hey! Danke und willkommen auf dem Kanal :)
It's probably sacrilege, but I use a black hind cockpit. Almost forgot how good the teal looks.
Sounds like... heresy! *hahha*
@@helldivermando3:06 this is one of my favorite shots on the fly out
I'm in love with these graphics and heli but unfortunately I don't have much space in my PC to install this masterpiece.... Sadly😢
It worthed - but DCS will still be around in some years. Maybe with even more exiting helos. Gove this a shot when you are ready. :)
@@helldivermando yeah...
Really like the video, also surprised to see helixopter work on Tempest, normally is more AA oriented it seems. Whats your guy TZ? Im always looking for new peeople to fly with on pvp servers!
We are flying EU based times - our main events are usually 1830Z.
Nice vid! In case it's of interest, I got playlisted onto this via Growling Sidewinder's channel. Think I'll stick around and check what you have in inventory!
Hey man - glad you like it and finde some entertainment on this channel. Also thanks for the info. I’m pretty unexperienced with algorithm and playlist suggestions, but it sounds like a good thing. 😊
@@helldivermando Yep, it is. New subscriber! Love your rotary wing stuff!
Can I ask what joystick do you use? Its look so smooth!
Sure man. I am flying with a VIRPIL constellation alpha as a side stick with extension. Probably a little unorthodox in the sim community but it works fine for me. There are cheaper options if you are looking for a new joystick though. The extension gives a lot of control.
Hey, could you possibly tell me how you turned off the petrovic target select menu in this? Driving me nuts that I see it in all my replays.
Hey mate, sadly I’m pretty sure that you can’t. You don’t see it on my screen because I was using a ultra wide monitor. The sides are cut off therefore.
Damn that’s a shame. Great video though.
Awesome video! :)
thank you sir. Glad you enjoyed the longer episode :)
I'm very much in lover with rotors as a whole and own all the modules apart from the Huey, I'm curious to know what draws you to the Hind?
Same here :)
I dont know exactly what it is in the hind apart of a very recognizable and brutal look. Maybe its the speed and weapon load it can carry, or the fact that you dont have any screens to look at and everything feels like you are a infantry guy flying low to the ground. It might also be the combination of a Attack Helo paired with a Transport capability.
What is your helo of choice?
Those streetlight look too close together. Could have halved them easy.
Absolutely flying low and "fast" requires quite a bit of attention. Luckily we didnt crash :D
what server is this
Dont worry about it - the server is basically dead now. For a cool experience check out grey flag, buddy spike or Coop 80s.
What music?
It’s one of the no copyright tracks from UA-cam for the most part. I can’t recall the name if you mean that. If I find out, I’ll let you know.
What is "Fenced in"?
its a abbreviation and each lettern stands for a specific action. Generally it means, that you should get ready for combat, master arm on, flare program etc.
@@helldivermando that's what I thought but they were using it backwards. When you depart, ie cross over the perimeter fence, you F.E.N.C.E. OUT, outbound.
wooot? Are you absolutely sure? Im pretty sure "fence in" is the term for entering the enemy territory and getting ready for combat, following a checklist specific for the airframe. Im not a military aviator though. So I will double check. Thanks :) @@Blackcloud_Garage
