- In this tutorial, I will show you how to replace 6 x AA batteries with only 1 x 9v battery. And also how to fix ERR! messages that come along after battery replacement.
And if your device wasn’t too damaged by alkaline battery corrosion, then this method should work for you too. It saved me $30. Let me know if it works for you.
Great info.. although I would just clean the contacts and use AA rechargeable batteries. But thx for the reset combination. I am gonna print it and stick it inside, so I never have to search again
You're a happy young MacGyver! Your soldering was a little bit clumsy though. Thanks for the idea, I have the same product and I'm fed up with feeding it with 6 batteries!

BTW I didn't change over to the 9volt BUT I DID learn how to reset the error message, saving me $ from buying a new one!!! THNX!

Thank you for the video, I corrected the err problem. I believe your tutorial could be GREATLY improved by the following: Drop the music and speak to us and use a translator if needed. The written words with instructions flashed by much to fast. I had to keep pausing the video to catch up with the instructions. Other than that my gratitude for helping me get my machine working. @@faziefazie I AM SOOOO HAPPY you did this video!!! They should put a LABEL (LOL like I am going to do right now!) with the instructions how to clear the message. I rarely use my label maker so I ALWAYS take the batteries out so they don't burst inside the machine. However, I couldn't remember how I reset it last time I put the batteries in and used it (aka had a senior moment). I was LITERALLY seconds away from hitting the BUY button to send a lady $12 for a brand new one on FB Marketplace, THEN the idea to GOOGLE IT popped into my brain. THANKS TONS!!! Constructive note... I do agree with stewart bruce regarding it would be easier to hear you give the instructions. If you decide to do a voice over maybe you could ask a friend to do that part ;) KEEP the written instructions too which were VERY helpful (I just paused the video and jotted down the instructions; LOL to make a label for the back of my label maker ;)

what should i do if the battery leak has gotten inside?
have you tried to clean the leak? if there's no corrosion in the machine, it should be fine. You can replace the batteries, and tried to turn it on.
Its not working
which one is not working? Is the battery replacement or is the error messages still appearing?
