I have mixed feelings. I see quite a few... The extreme word would be 'junkies' but I don't think these people do hard drugs. No, what I see are for those sitting down, their lives seemingly centered around making joints and smoking. I have met so many people who remind me of what I see in the video. Life is meaningless until the real moment comes when they can get stoned. There s nothing wrong with it either. I d rather have a world full of these people than the Faucis and sheep we have today. But I know myself and simply living a day there would depress me. I need very active minds, wild imaginations, people busy improving their environment or trying to find better ways at making food, natural medicine or music, what ever, just some kind of human spirit. Just sitting around getting high is exactly what would drive me bonkers.
My thoughts exactly, I agree on every point you're making and hope I'll one day find something like the commUNITY you're depicting🙏 But yeah, also like you said, almost anything except living amongst a herd of sheeples for the rest of my life would be good..😅 I live in Norway and 'they' did an excellent job in brainwashing over here, waking people up in this small, god forsaken country is like swimming in syrup..😞

If you are looking for safe trans eco spaces there is a place in Portugal that is ran by trans folks .. check out the radical faerie European group on Facebook .. there is also IDA in the USA that is a trans community.. 💗🏳️⚧️
I lived there about 18 years ago, when I was there everyone got hepatitis a, from the unsanitary living conditions and people not respecting the water source. I cant imagine it now!!! God willing they are more conscious of that after so many people got sick.
Oh dear, sounds bad, but I think it's down to people and community there, now it really looked clean and tidy.. well much better than some national parks in Spain that are full with human waste and garbage.
I dont think so,i Saw reports about beneficio in early 2000's,it was paradise,really,and peoples looked like really healthy ...internet killed this community and brought many madmens few Years after

Wao, Leila, I didnt know this... Listen, I inform you of these other authentic hippie places currently in operation in Spain in case you want to investigate and / or explore them:
+ Matavenero (in León province) eco-village with 60 inhabitants.
+ Negueira de Muñiz (between Lugo and Asturias provinces) commune "Ernes" dedicated to bioconstruction and agroecology, 22 inhabitants.
+ Valdepielagos (Madrid province) eco-village with its own coin, and who practices the exchange of services and knowledge, and the self-sufficiency of energy and food; 30 families.
Wao, I already knew the one in Asturias, but no idea about the others; you have where to investigate! 😃 Thx, Leila.
Demographics of Benificio: 60% dogs. 39.9999% men. 2 women.
Why are some many dogs there? who and with What do they feed the dogs?
Im a female thinking about going to live there but id like to find somebody to come with me haha. Solo travel is kind of scary xd

Sorry just seen your comment, hm the answer is that I m not good with entering a strange community and adapting to their rules, but maybe if I start my own community then definitely take away living in a harmony with nature and being more self sufficient x
Sorry Leila, couldn't live in those conditions! Must have pure water source and sanitation! Also too close contact with too many people. I was an avid camerp
camper in NY youth. Always a latrine away from site with a little lime and dirt after each use , completely covered upon leaving. Water sources from springs either boiled or strained and disinfected with atterbrine or Iodine. Never got sick, sometimes hungry!

Ich bin der Deutsche Typ vom Video :D Nur lebe ich mittlerweile als Frau^^
Also Deutschsprachige Menschen findest du dort zur genüge, fast alle die neu dazu kamen als Touris und auch teilweise länger geblieben sind, waren Deutsche.
Wir hatten oft Gruppen von 8-15 Deutschen, alle von 18-35.
Es gibt dort sogar ein "German Plateau", wo überall Deutsche wohnen. Denen läuft man ständig über den Weg.
Also man konnte dort fast schon mit Deutsch alleine auskommen, echt krass.
Kam mir fast wie eine Deutsche Enklave, oder Kolonie vor, mitten in Spanien :D
Ich war ein halbes Jahr dort, war eine mega geile, wertvolle Erfahrung für mich, die mein Leben echt verändert hat, zum besseren.
Man entdeckt sich einfach selber ganz neu und lernt ganz neue, andere Seiten des Mensch-seins kennen.
Hab die Abende am Lagerfeuer, gemeinsames kochen, reden, musizieren und kiffen sehr genossen.
Vermiss das grad auch wieder ein bisschen, es ist einfach eine andere Welt, sowas findest du in unserer Gesellschaft sonst nirgends :)

Hab das Video erst vor 1 Woche gefunden, sie hat mich gefragt, ob sie mich mit ins Video nehmen darf, war halt total überrascht, sehr bekifft und hab halt nur blödsinn geredet haha

Also ich hab auf jeden Fall vor, iwann wieder mal dort hin zu schauen. Es ist einfach ein einzigartiger Ort.
Nur wer weiß wie lange es ihn noch gibt, der neue Bürgermeister von Orgiva macht gerade sehr Stress, der will das alles etwas beenden, ich hoffe ich bekomme noch die Chance, mein Bene so zu sehen, wie ich es kennenlernen durfte.
Wahnsinn, was man da ständig für Menschen trifft, es war immer ein Bunter Haufen und so Internation zusammen zu sitzen, hat echt was ganz besonderes, man verliert alle dummen Vorurteile, die man sich iwann im Leben angesammelt hat über andere Länder, oder Menschen.
Wäre cool dort zu chillen, einen zu rauchen, könnte dir die geilsten Plätze zeigen, du würdest aus dem Staunen nicht mehr raus kommen :D

Un terreno, manantial o pozo, árboles belloteros, huerto, árboles frutales, desidratación y conservación de alimentos, mi idea es un tipo de cabaña / kerterre, y poco más, vivir, simple, rudo, pero libre, como han vivido nuestros antepasados y viven pueblos y ermitaños por toda la Tierra.

lived in Orgiva early 2000s....for 6 years.....never went to this place once......avoided it.
Hey thanks for sharing! It's actually a beautiful lovely place and every day there are new travellers passing by, staying overnight then heading off the next day.
U missed something for sure my friend. Beneficio is a unice amazing place, i lived there for 6 Month´s and total enjoyed my stay. It was a totally different lifestyle wich u can´t find often in Europe.
Sad that u didn´t give it a chance.
We in Bene called Orgiva, "Babylon" and where happy when we could go back after some hours shopping there, to our wood´s and peacfull area, without car noices or unconscious people around us^^
