Giving Your Life to Jesus-
In order to lead a lifestyle where you can hear God and receive His favor, protection, and blessings, you must first make the decision to come into His home. This involves acknowledging your sinfulness and accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, committing yourself to following Him with all your heart. Only then will God come into your life and guide you towards His plans and purposes for you.
As humans, we all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. Every lie we tell, every item we steal, and every time we take the Lord's name in vain, we commit a sin. According to the Ten Commandments, we have all sinned, and the punishment for sin is death. This demonstrates how seriously God views sin. However, because of His love for us, God took human form and paid for all our sins, granting us eternal life in return.
To receive the blessing of salvation, there are three steps you must take:
1.Acknowledge that you have sinned against God and feel remorse for it.
2. Repent of your sins, meaning that you will no longer commit those actions that are considered a sin to God.
3. Place your complete trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, with all your heart, mind, and strength.
If you take these three steps, you are saved and are welcomed into the family of God.
