@@BeauTylerMakesMusic Yeah i just dont like not being able to control every aspect but this kind of thing makes more sense because getting actual percussionist is expensive plus the main thing here is you can edit it yourself and its not just giving loops which would be an immediate no go for me otherwise. Really a fantastic product they made here
@@BeauTylerMakesMusic that sequencer is great too, all the adjustments make things so much easier workflow wise along with what ill probably do is create with this then with some of the sounds i dont think are great ill just grab the midi and use spitfire high percussion (best recorded sounds i think you can find, they are just great at recording) and blending them to really make sure the sounds are top notch but being able to create so easily in that sequencer just speeds things up
I have this. It's a cpu hog. Crashing just about every time I use it. Unfortunate for me. It sounds to be a fantastic instrument to have but I can hardly use it now. 😕
This is not a very broad percussion library right? Seems a good fit for latin or even afro type music. Not a good fit for typical western music or Indian music. What do you think?
I would agree with that. There are some better native instruments percussion options if that’s what you’re after. If that’s what you’re after then check out the India Spotlight Collection plug-in. West Africa might also be a good plug-in for you. :)
@@BeauTylerMakesMusic I have all of those and Cuba as well. But I am just dipping my toes into music making and didn't get any time to play with them enough. In Session Percussionist can you make any types of rhythm of different time signature? Like 3/4, 7/4, 16/4 etc.?
I hate session instruments because i like to do everything myself but i bought this immediately its going straight into current projects
I have a real guilt about it sometimes too. But some of them just twist my nips enough to force me. 😂

Looks a lot like UVI Percussion. I think I prefer this one, though. Will wait for K15 update, it'll most probably be included in standard edition.
I’m going to have to check out UVI. That’s the third-ish time someone has mentioned it :)
It’s worth 100$. But I’ll wait for the Komplete collection upgrade.
It’s half price now. 🎹♥️
Good Job. Super video!
Thank you very much!
nice warm presentation and v useful for a session perc noob like me :)
Thanks Kev!!!!
Great vid btw
Glad you enjoyed
Has anyone else had a problem with it not syncing correctly? If I set the tempo manually it plays in time, but it’s off when using sync.
!!! I haven’t ran into that problem.
Beau is my cat. 🎶🎹♥️

Oh no! do you have an older computer by any chance? Mines relatively new her and I haven’t had any trouble with it. Such a bummer to hear.
Same for me. Macbook Pro 2019🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

Man this looks sick, but kinda hurt on the $100 price point.
