Same question here. It seems to produce loops that I can then record into my DAW, but most users just want the flexibility to drag and drop presets into their DAW for easier editing, right?
How did you move the Session Percussionist chosen groove into your DAW track? Somehow I'm not seeing how I can drag it or copy into a PT track. Appreciate any tips.
The grooves are not moved into the daw, after building patterns in the editor they can be triggered with a midi note. Record or insert a midi clip and draw a in C1 to trigger pattern 1, add in a C# to trigger pattern 2 etc.
Thanks for a great video, and I really liked the track at the end! I was thinking of trying to use the percussionists in logic for a track, but this looks light years ahead. Guess I'll go through your link 👍
Right now the best we can do is program it how we want, maybe make a few variations, play the midi trigger notes into our daw, then render to audio. We could treat each song section with different parts/grooves. 🎹♥️
Looks great! I’m always debating, do I use NI instruments, or samples from LoopCloud or Splice? Everybody has their own preference and style, but I lean towards instruments because of the built-in features.
What do you think? Is this the ultimate percussion instrument for songwriters and producers?

Got this three months ago and just now starting to use it, and love it. Thanks for the helpful video. Also, I want that T-shirt.
Glad you like it!
Thanks for taking the time to record and edit this video. I purchased Session Percussionist right after it came out and this will be really useful.
Rock on!

I LOVE the logic drummer but I agree this is LOADS better for this type of thing
I've just discovered this today and it's 💯 on the wishlist, what a powerful tool!
Couldn't agree more!
It's 50% off now
I have this and it's awesome!
I agree. Glad you like it.
Are there any videos at all explaining what everyone is asking about…?Getting the midi into the daw, i.e.,drag and drop. 🎹♥️
NI makes another absolute banger (pun intended) with Session Percussionist. 👍
Agreed

Love the way you explained it 👏
Glad it was helpful!
Really enjoyed your video my brother, just downloaded this today, already have a song for our upcoming album that I’ll be using it on. 🎹♥️

any good for house music and dance ?
Would I get it for for that genre specifically, no. It’d be a great supplement but not your go to.
@@producerhat thanks is there anything else you would say is the go to ?
Can you tune these instruments? Regards
Yes in the mixer. 🎹♥️
I love ana 2 too. 🎹♥️
Danger with my CPU (mbp 16)😮😮
Same here. 16” MBP w/ M1 Max.
@@producerhatreally? I have seen a lot of people having problems with this library. Let's wait for an update of this new library
Why in the world would you have a splice account to begin with? The cheap professionals record store? Not buying it.
Huh? If you use correctly Splice can be a great tool for any producer. As long as it’s a tool and not a crutch.
Less talking, more demo
There’s little labeled chapters. Click one.
you couldn't have chosen a LESS musical pattern to start with, no groove, no dynamics, no contrast, just lame🤦🏻♂
Looking forward to seeing your review friend 😎
