Thanks for your review. Just my 1 cent
If you sand the coaster you will be able to see your chips .
Thank you. I've seen this product but never tried it. I usually use Magic Powder by Let's Resin which is a good product but next time I order I'll give Yobtop a try. Especially because I like I like my casting powder to be white. I hate it when they're brown or grey because it's harder to color them. Great job. 👍
Mix2Mold is a new eco pour sold by Michael's. It is on sale for $15 for 5 pounds!!! It's pure white. Pretty much the same as resincrete.
They are now being discontinued. I purchased it all!
@@keliiwilliams8142 Another craft store is taking it up. I purchased 7 5 pound buckets half price at Michaels.
@@keliiwilliams8142 It's being discontinued by Michael's, but will be available at Hobby Lobby, I believe (according to Southern Lady). I bought 7 tubs of the discounted Mix2Mold!!
I’m going to market some resin-rebar, make your coasters unbreakable
I use yobtop deep pour epoxy resin, works better than let's resin does. Why I don't know 🤷♂️
Interesting i can probably buy that eco resin and use it on my counter tops im making a wooden table for my kitchen and was thinking about using white acrylic and a sealer to finish it but may be i might u this i was going do epoxy resin but it kinda expensive
Really great review - I’m a new subscriber - nice meeting you
I have used several eco resin powders, and the this one is by far my favorite when shopping on amazon.
You suppose to water sand the coaster in order to get the terazzo effect. You will see its beauty when you'll sand your project. Also, the smoothness of the coaster depends mainly on the mold, and how shiny it is...
Yeah I actually found that out after sanding the bottom and realized it looked a million times better! And true, the mold makes a difference, but I've used that same mold with resincrete several times and this stuff seemed a little smoother. I also had been using the 30 min demold resincrete prior to trying this stuff, which is 20 min demold, and maybe that had an effect. Or I could have got my ratios off without noticing and that had an effect. Not sure.
Would love to see your sanded version. @@jkakstudios

I use Mix2Mold most of the time instead of the Resin Crete.
Welp, its not $15 anymore!😂
I just checked and it looks like they're out of the one I got, which is the 1000 gram. The $42 one is 3000 grams. I think the original resincrete (30 min demold) is going for around $15 on Amazon now though. They all change price and availability so often it's hard to keep track.
Easy to break not recommended for figurine
Yeah anything less than half a centimeter/quarter of an inch thick, not a good idea to use an eco resin. It's great for coasters, candle jars and such but not small, delicate projects.
