@@djpopcorn When Jesus had brought about Christianity, it was supposed to be for everyone and without division. What I mean by non-denominational is that those Christians don't go by any other title other than Christian as they're not a part of any main-line (popular) sections. They don't need to go to a church building to learn about the Bible from a pastor, but instead criticize and learn together. Skeptism was encouraged.
The whole point of it was to not be main-line like Catholicism, Baptist, etc. It's been around for thousands of years but was only given any recognition in the 20th century.

And a lot of people who do know this verse will argue it because it makes them uncomfortable as a believer in the most high. That’s what we did as a body of sinful people. We received Gods laws and we didn’t follow them. We bent rules just as we do now because it’s what makes us comfortable.

It’s funny we will dress accordingly to an event where the host may say: “The attire for the night is,‘wear all white; wear all red, wear gold & black, etc. Many of us will adhere to that attire. When it comes to church attire, many feel “just come as you are… God knows.” Yes, He knows what’s the motive behind what we wear. Many of our women’s neckline is meeting our hemline.
If you were invited to a beach or pool party, would wear a evening gown or a tuxedo.

Keep letting european serpent seed scholars lie to you Abt the bible and you'll end up right under the beast system with the rest of the religious ppl. There's a demon of religion. Overall Christian as well as other terms were insults made by the Catholic church for those who believ in Jesus Christ. Holiness comes from within and reflects on our outward appearance. The Bible also speaks against jewelery, piercings and makeup. Just because others are "allowing" it and okay with it, doesn't mean it's okay or right with God.

Yup we were brought up in COGIC. It was believed that pants would send you to hell. But Bishop GE Patterson (One of our presiding Bishops) did a great sermon on it. It’s on UA-cam. He said if that’s the case, then we would all go to hell bc scripture back then stated not to wear different clothing textures. He said when we read, we need to read more than just that one verse verse. The scripture referenced was about us women not wearing anything pertaining to a man. But Bishop pointed out the history of pants. The word comes from the term Pantaloons which were not even created back then. Great teaching check it out! But COGIC gave me a great foundation as a youngster even now that I’ll always be grateful for! I’ve seen real live miracles happen right there during service. My vision restored. Ppl with AIDS back in the 90s healed. Ppl that were shot survived! It taught me how big and powerful our God is and that He is always there for us! But now I also know how loving God is as well. In all of our getting, we have to get that understanding!

Dressing, looking, and acting like the world will not lead you to that higher place in God. The Holy Spirit is grieve and will not go beyond what you allow.

I grew up pentecostal. This never happened to me. Pentecostal comes from the day of pentecost (when Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would come) and the Holy Spirit came. So pentecostal churches focus more on the holy spirit, and what he says. I've never felt convicted for wearing jeans or jewelry. But for example when I bought short pants and they were way too short I never wore them out because in my heart God spoke. Sometimes leaders take it way out of context, causing people to stray from God.

Yes, it is true that God‘s word tells us that a woman should not wear anything that pertain to a man, and it also explains to us why we should not choose to wear jewelry, because of what it meant and symbolized in the word of God. However, those things will come out of conviction, personal conviction from the Holy Ghost when you have the right relationship with God, and you have been filled with his spirit, we are only led by the spirit of God, not by what man dictates to us, but what God says in his word. I am thankful to have a pastor in my life who doesn’t judge or threaten individuals by their choices. However, he preaches the truth, and allows the Holy Ghost to convict them of those things, we are all going to stand before God one on one on judgment day no one is going to be there to hold Our hand. It will be us in Jesus, so just know if you seek a true relationship with the Lord, he will convict you of certain things, but he is a gentleman and he has given us a free will so we have to make those choices for ourselves, because we love him, we want to be pleasing to him. Be blessed.

Yes, this too. Sometimes, it's house rules for the home, other times peer pressure along with that flesh!! The Lord wants us to be set apart, light and dark ness, She is young and being trained!! She's not getting away, neither are we, God can and will pull the cover off and then you are seen, for the person you are, not the one you pretend to be.

@@ShmaAdonaiEhad No brother I don't think so. Salvation is an inside job. I do agree with you on the factor of "Christmas" it's a pagan holiday and it has nothing to do with Christ Jesus. Nevertheless, I still do enjoy it as I have some fond memories of some of my relatives who are no longer here with me. As I eloquently stated before salvation has nothing to do with pants, jewelry etc. God looks within the heart of man, (1 Samuel 16:7) and I will allow God to chastise/convict me if I'm wrong in any way. But I'll leave you with this from the late and great Bishop GE Patterson who breaks it down far better than I ever could. Lastly, when you mentioned "idolize" I don't idolize a pagan holiday over God. To idolize is to worship something and or someone over God. I'm not worshiping pants, jewelry, and or pants over God. My dad didn't see me before I jump back in the car and told my friend to pull off. My dad was yelling from the top of the balcony telling me to not come back!🤣 I still left. I grew up Apostolic Pentecostal and although my Mom wore dresses and skirts, my parents never MADE me wear them everyday... only to church. They taught modesty. I'm 42, still Apostolic, and still firmly believe in modesty. Modesty goes a long way and not just for clothing. In the same breath, I fully support anyone that wants to wear dresses, no makeup, etc. It's their conviction. We need to focus more on what really matters and let God do the cleaning.

      Yea. They’re called false converts.
I’m not Pentecostal, and I don’t necessarily think it has to be the standard Pentecostal skirt. But scripture plainly teaches you should dress modestly.
This video, and so many people in the comments, with the standard “you should never feel pressured at all” takes clearly don’t know scripture.
You should feel pressured. Not only by those who are commanded to raise you in the admonition of the Lord, but also the conviction of the Holy Spirit who dwells in you.
That conviction isnt there for so many people who call themselves Christians. If the pressure/conviction of sin isnt in you, the Holy Spirit probably isn’t there either.

He without sin cast the first stone. It is not what is on the body or what goes in the body that defiles a man, but the words that come out of his mouth defiles a man. Matthew 15:11.
