Help! Which girth straps should I be using?

For saddles that come with a choice of girth straps there are always reasons for choosing one set up over another. We would recommend that in the first instance you contact your saddle fitter, every time, but here's a brief guide to some different options, and how and why they can be detrimental to the horse if you get them wrong.
