Scott your reviews are so professional I'm surprised some bike manufacture approach you to be a spoke person. The news showed a clip from the annual Ranger competition the other day I immediately thought of you ... thanks a lot
Another great review Scott. I really wanted this bike, but had a horrible time getting someone to call/email me back about a couple questions I had before the purchase. Zero response from phone calls/emails. Wondering about tech service after the sale.
Well done and you seem to enjoy your work too... With all these reviews, can you say which brand has the best customer service? The Tundra; Aventon Aventure.2; Radster Trail; Lectric XP Step-Thru 3.0 Black Long-Range eBike and Heybike Hauler are some I am looking at.
I have not reviewed any Lectric bikes, although, I have just been put on their roster and they will start sending me bikes. Heybike just sent me their Ranger S and I am waiting for it to arrive. So far, I have had excellent customer service with Aventon and Velotric. The Aventure 2 is one of my favorites!
I've had mine for 3 days now, and so far I'm very happy with it. I do wish that it was more waterproof. A bike at this price point wouldn't need to be completely submersible, but should be able to withstand more than splashes and light rain. Other than that, their customer service on my bent derailleur hanger was excellent. It may be the best bike of its kind at that price point ($1399) but in hindsight, I'd rather have paid a bit more for the Ferla FX-Series 750.
Thanks Rudy! Looks like I am going to have to do a video on how to install FlatOut (thanks for the idea). I am sure there are videos out there that show you but this is the version I use. FlatOut Tire Sealant Sportsman Formula: amzn.to/3HhtBRS
Hmmmm.... I dig how this bike rides but I love the straight top bar on the Nomad 1. It could really go either way. Zero ghost pedaling with this bike but I am a huge fan of the grips and wider handlebars on the Nomad. This bike has a color display but I can see the battery level better on the Nomad. They are too close to decide.
The only real difference between the two that I can figure is that it doesn't have the same PAS delay nor does it have the throttle delay that the Aventure 1 has. And of course the display on the Aventure is nicer.
Im interested in the step over because i don’t like the step thru but im not sure if i need to buy it because my height is 5.1” and i couldn’t find any specific information about heights
It says on the website that it is a torque sensor. Until I test the bike, I can only go by what the website says. I show in the video that this is not a torque sensor.

Thanks Doug.

Good question. I haven't had to use tech service on any of the Gotrax products so unfortunately, I have no answer for you.
Amazed that you spoke about not getting a flat tire. On our next episode, we’re gonna watch Scott fix a flat tire out on the trail. Lol.
hahaha. Maybe, over the next 4 days I will be hitting the 2 different single-track mtb trails on 3 bikes. So we will see!

You always get happy when you get in the sand! Another great review.
Always! hahaha
Excellent review, Awesome!
Thank you kindly!
Welcome, Scott. I would go with the Aventon Aventure 2. I charged my account from EyeSentu to EyeSentUVids.@@scotthardesty
Another great review! Which did you like better, the Tundra or the Freedare Saiga?
I have to give it to the Saiga. That Torque sensor works really well.

Thanks for the input!
Another great review, Scott!!
Thanks again!
Love your reviews, how do we add flat out for inner tube tires?

Would you choose the Nomad 1 over this bike? They both seem like good bikes

Good review. Almost seems this ride could of rolled off the Aventon line.
Almost!
looks allot like the Aventon Aventure. with the exception of where you access the battery. what your opinion compared to the Aventure?
The only real difference between the two that I can figure is that it doesn't have the same PAS delay nor does it have the throttle delay that the Aventure 1 has. And of course the display on the Aventure is nicer.

I couldn't find any specific info on height either, thats why I had to give my best guess.
PAS 5 switches it to a cadence sensor from what I have learned from other videos.
(Edited - level 5 only)
It's the weirdest thing... I don't hate it though.
@@scotthardestyI meant to say PAS level 5 is using cadence instead of torque.
Nice aventon aventure 😂. I own an aventure and this is very similar.
It is very similar.
Troque sensor is not correct. It is a cadence sensor.
It says on the website that it is a torque sensor. Until I test the bike, I can only go by what the website says. I show in the video that this is not a torque sensor.
Airborne! hooah
hahaha. Hello Airborne! Rangers lead the way!
U should not be riding 28mph 2 feet from walkers. U are why ebikes will become regulated.
Thanks for watching. Also, I am farther than 2 feet but the GoPro makes it look closer.
You lost my interest with the bottom load battery..
Well, thanks for watching as long as you did. lol (note to self, show battery at end of video).
Lol not the worst thing ever
