MENDING THE LINE, directed by Joshua Caldwell and written by Stephen Camelio, will world premiere as Opening Night Film at the upcoming Woodstock Film Festival on September 29th. The film stars Brian Cox, Sinqua Walls, Perry Mattfeld, Patricia Heaton and Wes Studi, and was produced by Carl Effenson of ArtImage Entertainment, Kelly McKendry of August Point Productions, and Scott MacLeod of CKM Entertainment alongside Joshua Caldwell of Meydenbauer Entertainment, and Stephen Camelio of Storm Castle Creative. Executive Producers are Brian Cox, Sinqua Walls, Mark Comora, Kyle David Crosby, Roger Goff, Brett Cravatt, Keith English, Robert Ogden Barnum, and Rick Sasner.

I’m a fly fishing guide and the attention to detail here with the “wet your hands” part is spot on accurate. Always wet your hands before handing a fish for release. Plus his mending instruction is accurate as well. Kudos
Yeah, but the old man’s casting throughout the movie was crap.
Plus, you should mend down stream when the slower water is in between you and the fast making the seam. If the fish are in the seam, the fly will move faster than the line. So you mend down stream.

How do I watch this? I got the fishing tv thing but this is not on there. Mending the line Is about some WWII vet returning to fish the rivers where he was deployed. I’m not complaining because that was awesome but I would love to watch this film. Anyone know how that is possible?

Beautiful movie.
When fishing that seam, you would want to mend downstream instead of up. Slow water close, fast water far=downstream if you want to fish the seam. An upstream meant into slow water would instantly skate the fly.
