The Mythical Pokemon Meltan

This strange new Pokemon with no name and no CP showed up around the world today after the community day event. I had to work so I missed community day. But I had some iPads with me afterwards and opened the game only to find it was here! So I tried to catch it..a few times and did ultimately.
Before we knew he went by Meltan...
PokeMasterHolly made a video with a lot with more information...and speculation. I think she does a great job discussing what the most popular guesses of what this strange new Pokémon might be. Here's a link to her video:

Jigglypuffs song I found on UA-cam in a video. Someone had painstakingly recorded it, deriving just its music from other sounds in the video it was taken from. That video may have been a commercial TV program...I forget. But I still need to find the actual link to it.

No one really knows. It showed up for about an hour after Community day and then disappeared...actually...now we know it’s Melton!
