I dont use WASD in most games unless I am forced to use that for some reason. I prefer to bind right click to move forward (oldschool Quake1 default) and my ctrl as the back button, z and x as left and right strafe. A is jump, shift is crouch. space ends up being something like walk slow or some button I am going to use commonly. D - sprint, S - go prone, or go slow... E as my use button, R reload, Q for voice chat.
I forgot sarcasm can't be shown over the internet. I was just referencing how hunters need an insane amount of keybinds. While doing so I guess it was misinterpreted. Thanks for correcting me I guess...
I use TFGH for movement, and my gw2 binds are similar to this just moved over. This way I have pretty much the whole keyboard available. Naturally finding T was difficult at first, but I scratched the key with scissors to give it a texture so its much easier now.
You should use something like Q&W, A&S or Z&X to strafe and run forward with mouse buttons. You free up a lot of keys and as a melee player especially it feels better in general. The only downside I found is that it's much harder to use your scroll wheel but personally I only use my mouse wheel to set focus targets in arena.
nice vid, i dont like wasd in mmos but never came up with that idea :o will take some time to get used to but i like it. got s-f movement, 2-5 class-, q-t weapon-, g,h,c-b utilskills now and feels alot better than wasd already, got almost too many easy reachable keys for gw2 now^^
well i play a DK main so i am usually in there face, when i kite i jump and do a quick turn to cast a spell, i got high rating using binds like this and everything, although when I am playing a ranged character i do leave a and d bound and just hold my right click to kite, none of my characters have q, w, e, or s bound to movement tho
I tried ESDF once but all the modifier keys feel really awkward to press. Maybe I didn't give myself enough time to get used to it. WASD just feels like home for my fingers.
Old schools use WASD, the ones that are new to gaming might use esdf because it might improve there gaming, but for us, many years with wasd have made us better with those, so it would not improve our game experience.
To me WASD is so much more comfortable. Especially all the modifiers take way less effort to press. And with a Naga i have enough buttons either way. Guess it's really just preference.
Screw rebinding. Why not get a g13? Keep your bindings, keep wasd, have more bindings, and have more combos of keys. Just take it to your friends house and u dont need to use his keyboard, nor do u have to rebind everything every/any time u play on another computer or a fresh install of windows. Hell you can even the mod joystick to use a 360 joystick and use it for aiming or walking just like a 360 controllers joystick. Nagas are horrible, tiny buttons, terrible locations. Get a g600 its better
I have ALWAYS used RFDG. Reason is that IF you use EDSF your little finger sits on "

I kind of want to go there and use this, but damn so many years with wasd its kind of hard to change it now!
I do rebind caps lock for wow and such, but not needed for GW2
Congrats on your server first to level 90!
krippie should have more viewership, thanks for information
With razer naga you can use arrow keys to move and still have somebindings left ;P
Great video. Thanks for sharing!

If you're really competitive like krippie you might consider switching to esdf for those few extra binds
Been up to 2k, but haven't really tried for high rating yet.

you dont get enough credit, subscribed
I don't even use my keyboard to move in WoW, i just use my mouse for movement and keyboard for spells.
How do you kite or pan your camera then? Only using your mouse for movement would gimp you so hard in pvp or hard pve content..
yo krippi could you make a wow UI/ur setup for holypally vid?
ginger harrison ford
will it blend?

Wrong. Hunters can not have ALL weapons/utilities on the naga.
