Oh my goodness!!! Your garden and your previous neighbor’s garden are just stunning. I love a good hedge and her garden just feels so private and peaceful. Thank you for filming during the heat and I am in awe of how happy all your plants are. You are such a knowledgeable gardener and very generous with sharing it. I guess your grandmother shared both of those qualities with you.❤❤❤

Your gardens look more amazing with each video!! Quick question: can you do a segment on how you deal with critters? I've purchased clearance asiatic lillies, for instance, at Lowe's. They start emerging in spring looking healthy; soon's they bud up - the next day the buds are nipped off. I have rabbit, chipmunk and mole pressure - have tried every repellent there is to purchase (they're not inexpensive),as well as homemade - and have simply given up on the lillies; even $2, 4 & $7 purchases add up over the course of several years. (my lupines, sunflowers, and other - are nipped early on, too). What the heck??? Help!! Persistant little buggers!!!

A very interesting comment on which crops to pare with gladioli, I will definitely try out nigella with them :). This year in my garden an accidentally self seeded tall grass grew with gladiolus bulb I mast have forgotten to dig up and they look perfect together. No one is overpowering, this grass is annual so not a massive clump and the seed heads from the grass look very sweet creating interest untill gladiolus will bloom. I still don’t know what colour will this be 😅 but that’s a natures surprise for me ❤

I planted Calla Lillies in a pot for the first time. The stems and leaves started falling over and pulled or fell right out of the ground. Was there something that I did wrong that caused the problem? I thought maybe the rhizomes started to rot.

Beautiful blooms and a beautiful garden! 3:17 Your callas look so good. I have similar ones in pots. They looked great for a while but then leaf by leaf turned yellow and pulled right out like they had rotted below the soil. Is this common and typical? How long do yours continue to bloom?

Hmmm…that does sound like they may be rotting. I haven’t experienced that with the ones I have in the ground. When you pull up the corms are they mushy?
