Since this is Grant Morrison we're talking about, I wouldn't be surprised if this guy actually was a dimension hopping Superman who showed up right when Grant needed him to.
I spoke to him at Glasgow Comic Con a few days ago, I was cosplaying as The Riddler. When I got a picture with him he leaned over to me and said "It's like a Lex Luthor and Riddler team-up here". I think he then pointed to a guy in a Batman costume and whispered something like "he's fucked".
He's actually a nice, funny guy. I was pleasantly surprised.
Maybe he's the real Clark Kent 😂😲

I got their signature on a program at NYCC. The cover picture was a Jim Lee drawing of the JL and Grant signed it over Batman's rope so the signature looks like an extension of the drawing. 100% on model if you ask me.
Can you imagine being that cosplayer who has reached the maximum heights of cosplay, where they become the comic.. literally? :O
Cosplayer? That was definitely Superman, and nobody can convince me otherwise. 😝

It's great cause he says how he always saw him posing and all that. But instead he talked to him and saw the humanity, something Lex himself refuses to do. If I walked past them I would of thought "there's Lex and Supes, just talking it out for once."
Grant Morrison is basically the good version of Lex Luthor.
That would've been the coolest moment to witness.

Morrison is an awesome writer. His work with Mark Waid, Geoff Johns and Greg Rucka on 52 really got my interest in reading comics. Right now I'm following his work on Batman (Specially looking forward to Batman Inc. #1).

I kinda see All Star Superman similar to Dumbledore. Totally at ease with his surroundings and always on top of his game but not being stuck up or a douche about it. Also both are wise, well spoken and extremely polite even when owning the opponent.

i love grant morrison work, how he can understand the kirby superhero cmics and the moore and neil stuff. but is SOOO hard for me to understand him when he speaks :/

I wonder if DC executives, who'd known Morrison's visionary nature, would have hired someone to cosplay Superman. I mean (really) if there were an actual Superman, we don't see him today. He's either keeping a (very) low-profile, or has disappeared into another dimension, or was a (real/imagined) manifestation of shamanic/psychoactive visions, or that entire experience was cosplayed into existence. My guess is one of the latter two, but with Grant's reality-bending nature, its all just as likely

@BROKENHOUSEFILMS Yeah he'd be picture perfect for the part of Luthor in any Superman film, I'm sure WB could work around a Scottish Lex Luthor, they've had stranger revisions before in lots of their DC comics films in the past ;-) I mean we've had an american John Constantine and Catwoman done up as a stripper
:-P But unlike those portrayals Morrison could actually make this work and I wouldn't even mind him saying "SooperMon", I say go for it WB.

When he's flipping through his notes and we see those sketches of Superman, are those his drawings? To my knowledge, Grant Morrison only writes, but maybe he has some penciling skills? Does anybody know?

I don't think Morrison gets Batman that well, but he understands Superman perfectly he's a much better writer when he does Superman as opposed to Batman who is in morrisons eyes is super intelligent and three steps ahead of everyone else and violent and sometimes murderous and has even called him gay, which would make him a pedophile which he is not. Batman is not a pederast he's not a catholic priest or from ancient Greece or feudal Japan he sees young men and women who are like him and wants to help them on their path to become heroes which is why I somewhat dislike Bruce Timm's interpretation because he put him in a romantic relationship with Batgirl which came off as gross and taking advantage or exploitive, also partly why the killing joke movie sucked. However Morrison makes Superman great by making him humble and decent who will save just one life by telling them they mean something and are precious to help make the world a better place which is really heartwarming and I wish he got Batman as well as he did Superman. And the same goes for other writers or vice versa in some cases.
