Thursday Devotion - “Someone You Can Depend On” (LHM)

Too often, when problems, challenges, or struggles arise in my life, I quickly attempt to troubleshoot them and determine how to fix, repair, or improve the issue at hand. That practice is not always successful, but it also omits the One Who is with me and has power to do all. From the Gospel for this weekend, I (we) are reminded to always first take all of our problems and challenges to the Lord. We can trust that He will act in the way that is best. God is dependable in all things, as He has shown us ultimately in the cross and the empty tomb. He took on our biggest problem, DEATH, and solved it in the most unexpected way, but sacrificing Himself for all.
