it literally doesnt matter what the sister wants if it involves your child and pressing charges regarding that situation. he is a danger to those around him and it would help others to keep them safe by putting this on the ex's record
Well said. OP's child was kidnapped and threatened multiple times, but she didnt want to press charges and get this psycho a longer sentence because "my sister wouldn't like it 🥺". They literally went no contact after the sister was removed from the case, so what was the point in not suing him?
@ there is none because if he was still alive, he would be a danger for others honestly. because the aggressor will more likely than not, escalate in their violence.
Your child is A Child, and it is the responsibility of *all adults around that child* to keep that child out of danger. This is the social contract of being a human. Those who break a contract are no longer covered by it, even if it's "just" a social contract, such as protecting a child, or tolerating the people around you. This is why you're mad. (Also, PRESS CHARGES, because he WILL do it again & again & again!)
What kind of person thinks, “Yeah, totally, the guy I plan to break up with is the perfect babysitter”? That’s awfully selfish to use him for family favors when you don’t consider him family anymore.
The moment the sister decided she wanted to break up with him, he was no longer family and thus no longer a trusted person. The fact the sister let it go beyond that, is in my opinion wholly on the sister's shoulders. I get being in a trauma response after your dog being kidnapped, but to not warn your sister because 'he has calmed down and seemed normal'? Was that part of the trauma response? Either way the fact she decided to break up with him and not tell her sister, so she could still babysit is where she went wrong for me. To me that would at least be geounds to not be asked/allowed to babysit for the foreseeable future.

nvm dude died so thankfully others safe but i understand the lack of feeling justified

Sorry not sorry, it'd be hard to forgive ANY family member if they tried to sweep under the rug a situation that severe.

even worse, she already knew he was dangerous, why do i feel like she just wanted to use op's child as a meat wall for the ex's abuse

Welp, good riddance to bad rubbish. Merry Christmas everybody!
"My sister doesn't have a mean bone in her body" also spits in the exs face knowing her nephew is in the car he pulled up in 🤔
I get the nephew part but she’s not ‘mean’ for reacting like that to an unstable and insane abuser
I love listening to these
What type of psycho posts this horrific story on Christmas day bru
????
Fun night out?
