Spot on, if he had have put an end to fuel allowance in his manifesto he wouldn't have got in!. What a traitor of the working class, next election he can fof.
Greens and Independents do pretty well at our council elections, the labour MPs we have to tend to be towards the left of the party but let's be under no illusions that successive Tory governments have done nothing for our city, and we will never forgive Thatcher and The Sun
Agreed. Greens and Independents are the way forward...
@johnpullen3729 not from Liverpool but for what it's worth, one of the reasons I would never vote for the greens is that they're anti nuclear energy. The science is against every anti nuclear argument.
How do we put an end to this two party fptp system that encourages corruption?
They are Red Tories. Also Reform aren't for Liverpool either
How hell you know that you know nothing he for the people reform party is for the people look at the clowns you voted in
Did the same as that last chap. Voted Greens as their policies reflected my views, which haven't changed. Labour are Tory Lite.
The Greens need to up their game in Liverpool
So many policies that Labour once upon a time stood for that the Greens stand by.
Agreed. They do seem to be getting more traction with mainstream press since the election which will hopefully help their cause.
When I've listened to people around me, it seems there are alot of people who have voted reform as a protest....as labour has shifted it's political stance as a protest, yet the greens actually were massively closer to those political beliefs.
Those people have effectively sent a message that they'd prefer more right wing policy rather than voting with their beliefs.
Feels a bit odd to me.
The greens are for open boarders ,1.2 billion migrants could possibly be on the move in the next 20 years according to the w,h o , AND NATO even if the numbers are smaller most will be heading to the UK .When will a set number of population we need a sensible policy ,not open boarders ,
@@user-zi7ep9jz1d like I said, they were closest to my personal politics. If that doesn't align with yours, then I'm fine with that.
Green are no better all they will do is just carry on where labour left of
@@michaelball3250 well reform are absolutely a no go, conservatives.....nope and lib Dems were too busy jumping off buildings and all that crap in the run up to the election - so they're not serious for me.
Greens had solid thinking in their policies. I voted with my conscience, if that didn't reflect yours then that's cool but it doesn't change how I'll vote.
Labour shot themselves in the foot by saying they wouldn't raise taxes or NI , I wouldn't have minded pay a little now if it was going to nhs, education etc...
Starmer wrote columns for The Sun
Enough said
That's your job as a politician isn't it?
How else does he reach the people who read it?

I’ve been Labour all my life, but as it stands they are not getting my vote next time….
But with that said, you’d have to be as thick as a Boxing Day turd to vote Reform - they are literally the racist arm of the conservatives - they and their voters can …. Off.
ill give you that comment really made me laugh! Best description of a reform voter 😂
Y it's wrong to be racist
So who would you vote for if not Labour, in that case? Serious question, not sarcastic….
So then the labour vote was split with Reform at the red wall.
Complete nonsense, racists wouldn't vote reform.
The very first UK prime minister was educated at Eton. In the UK, we've had 20 prime ministers from Eton College and 30% of the prime ministers we've had since 1955 have been 'educated at Eton. Eton's capacity is only 200 pupils and currently, it costs approximately £50K a term. Therefore, our political system is simply an exclusive club for the privileged who have absolutely no idea or interest in the lives of ordinary people. Ultimately your vote means nothing.
I can't give my career a Christmas present, she's not allowed to accept gifts as it could put her in a compromising situation - company policy. So why are the people running the country allowed to accept gifts??? Quid pro quo....

Shame it went to the very well paid train drivers
Where do they get this north south divide, some area’s down south are some of the most deprived in the country, people need to stick together and not blame north or south.
How come you can do these on the streets of liverpool and everyone sounds relatively sensible but you go to the 'affluent' 'educated' Tory shires and they sounds nuts
😂😂
So true it's funny
That’s because they are
The final Interviewee was spot on.
She doesn't mind giving up her £300 for fuel, and Starmer doesn't mind pocketing £105 grand in free stuff.
Doesn't think Labour represents working people... votes Reform. Jesus Christ...
@@blisseyran-dom6822 reform are a complete cluster fuck. Why vote for a shitter version of the Tories.
Reform garnered 4 million voters ( not myself ) in only 3 years, just saying…..👍

@@lestrem11 I'm not denying that, but their leader is not working class and if anyone thinks he is, they're kidding themselves.

Starmer boasts how he has changed the party - what he doesn't boast about is that it's changed for the worse.
Didn't he praise Thatcher before the election. Obviously anticipating it as a vote winner. Who is Starmer? Who has he devoted himself to? He is for big corporate interests, not the people who need hope and opportunity. He's for a genocidal government, rather than the victims of a murderous utterly revolting government. I'm hating the bloke.
Cal spotted!
Hands down best city in England, although it’s not a high bar.
Who on earth in Liverpool is voting Reform?! Have a word

Interesting vox pop illustrating the disillusionment with the Labour party and political parties in general across Liverpool in which less than 50% of people could be arsed to vote in the general election. The percentages voting for each party were Labour 69.91, Reform 11.53 and Green 10.51.
My dad didn’t even vote and he drove my mum to the polling station
Why do you call us Scousers “Liverpudlians”, Scouse is not a slur, we’re Scousers.
Scouse is a type of meal
Because they've spent too much time down south
Ian Byrne, my MP, represents me and he was suspended so in a literal sense, Labour don’t represent me even though I voted for them and like my MP.
Glad to hear that last guy has moved to the Greens, i'm the same.
Reform is the way to go
It's funny how everyone in England is too embarrassed to admit they voted for labour and tell interviewers they voted for Reform.
@@alexanderferguson2199 labou4 voters should be ashamed of what there government is doing to our country.
Starmer is a barnacle on the arse of progress
He hates Liverpool
The last guy was 100% correct. Our politics are the same, but Labour has changes (a 180 degree change of direction. Tony Benn's words have came to pass. If Labour are allowed to get rid of the Socialists then it will become another Tory party that can take power every so often when people get fed up with the (blue) Tories, but a Tory government with Tory policies remains come what may.. A new party needs to arise that will truly represent the working people, who have been totally abandoned now by Labour. Starmer is 100% Tory and, just like Johnson has lies woven into his DNA. Just ask his "good friend" Jeremy Corbyn
He"s a " Hair cut " with no spine .
Don't go into that H and M in the background, it's been selling clothes with holes in them for years.
Looking at the faces of working class racism in the north is so sad. Farage played them like a violin.
Hearing peoples genuine concerns snobbishly brushed aside as "working class racism" is sad. Twitter played you ike a violin.
No the racism is largely a symptom of desperation. Farage takes advantage of that yes but that’s because no one is showing any interest and he is at least pretending to.
More racism in the South in my experience tbh with you.
Reform second place in a lot of Liverpool constituencies but the gap between them and Labour is about 20,000 votes in each seat so the majority here aren’t racist.
Since when does opposing open boarders make you a racist?
'Yeah we love Joblessness and talking to The Sun round here...'
I know starmer is terrified of reform in the north. He keeps blaming the riots on the mystical far right from other areas. But working class towns are angry
So your just looking for anyone who will slag starmer off.like all the Tories client media.
Welcome to the machine.
Bring back Tories?give reform a go?
Im just happy the Tories aren't killing us anymore.most people are.
Would be good if you can find more young people to talk to.
I think Starmer is a Manchurian candidate and others hold and pull his strings. His judgement and ability to read the room isn't just bad, it's a total disaster. I think he's got in too deep and greedy with the gifts thinking he'd bury them in declarations and now he can't get out as the spotlight is never going away now and at some point it's going to be payback time to the donors. In this world there is nothing for nothing!
He was installed by the spooks. Boris for all his insanity says this in his book. Boris was placed in by the spooks to keep corbyn out. They then turned on him and got him out.

I have never seen so many sound bites repeated. Not clever.
Problem is the Welsh keep voting for them
I live in Liverpool and I can honestly tell you not everyone in Liverpool votes Labour. Reform did well in this city
I wouldn't say they did "well" exactly. They got like around 7,000 votes per constituency (ish). The real worry is that they'll do really well next time because the turnout was so stupidly low around here, there's loads of potential votes basically up for grabs. No one else bothers campaigning, they see it as "Labours" by rights, so if Reform launch a big campaign based on them coming second I could see them even winning a couple of seats.
Now jc gone grannny hsrrmer is labour sre conservative, i lobe liverpudisns
