Yea like when say were rotten to the core it kinda feels sad cause through the years they all said that the word but I'm kinda happy that they didn't keep carlos in the animated movie for the wedding because that would it would the voice and I just don't it would seem right of him still in the movie even though he's not even here, so I don't know if I would be watching this film because I thought the would like do it for real them and I thought it would be a happy ending like hades is happy and not villain and uma to be honest all she wanted was to see auradon and malificent I thought she would be a villain because she hasn't been in the movie since the first one.
I just don't think its right for them to do the movie so I just don't think I will be watching it cause I want to see them not in animated movie so um I don't know but I do like the way they did the film and stuff I just don't think watching the movie without someone that is not alive and has been in the movie since 2016 but
I think I will watch it even though Cameron Bryce is not here to watch it but it but I know he's watching through heaven 🖤 RIP Cameron boyce

I know, right?! A little detail that shows this is next to Jay (on his right) its just blank where Carlos should be. The fact that there is such a big gap between Jay and the girls (specifically Jay and Mal), really makes it weird that Carlos is missing.

Being an animated special, they could've just included Carlos and use deleted dialogue like Doc Hudson for Cars 3 or Mr Potato Head for Toy Story 4

Yeah, but it's not as important to get one guy to play a character for the first AND last time unless they're the main focus of the story
Who here thinks that before Mal and Ben are pronounced man and wife Carlos comes bursting through the door and says “Do you think I would miss this?” That would be the perfect surprise/Tribute to Camron Boyce like if you agree.

I know what all of you are thinking: it’s not the same without Cameron Boyce and you’re right about it but I can’t wait for the descendants royal wedding in loveing memory of Cameron Boyce.
Maybe they'll be a painting of him that's covered in a see-through black shawl-like covering like from the beginning of Frozen. Maybe a silent flashback of the good times they've had together that's either in black and white or sepia tone.

I was never that into mal and ben's romance the descendants was built more on the bond of the main four vk so the love story is very meh to me
I am not that sentimental about cameron but i am sentimental about carlos so it bugs me how he's not there
And i personally hate the they're off an a journey or trip type of explaination

The way Ben says “we’re finally getting married” gives me hope we may get a new rendition of “there’s a party here in agrabah” but reworded it for the special.
And awesome to see Pain and Panic, but also feels different seeing the Isle Kids without Carlos. Didn’t they try and experiment doing a descendants halloween special with Carlos having a new voice actor when they did stop motion with the headless horseman?

I saw the trailer for “King of Thieves” a million times on an old CD so that quote is now engraved into my brain 😂

Personally, I would prefer this as live-action over animated since the movies are all live-action
This story being animated works because Carlos can still be in it without the actor and using deleted lines a la Mr Potato Head for Toy Story 4

I’m surprised that Carlos isn’t in this! I know Cameron Boyce has passed, but I thought they’d recycle unused dialogue from the Descendants Wicked World Series or something like that, kinda like how deleted scenes of Leia were used in the Rise of Skywalker after Carrie Fisher passed

This is so difficult to do without Cameron I miss him so much but if they are doing an animated version they should at least have Carlos but have someone who sounds similar play his voice that would be heartbreaking to not have it be Cameron but it would have been better than leaving him out

So several things. 1, 0:07 Audrey looks salty. 2, like others have pointed out it doesn't look or feel right without Camerons' character Carlos. 3, is that Diedrich Bader voicing Hades? 4, 0:31 Pain and Panic. And 5, 0:35 I thought Uma went good.

Right now I have mixed feelings cuz ever since I saw descendants 3 and saw Ben proposing I always wanted to say mal royal wedding but at the same time I'm confused I thought that Hades was good at the end and also Uma and also I do miss Cameron and I was upset when I saw Mal even Evie and Jay say we're wanting to the core but Carlos isn't there

Also, on August 13th, if the film comes to Disney Plus in Australia and those places that don't have Disney Channel anymore, I hope they put the telecast (the one that they said they would honour Cameron's memory in as well) on Disney Plus too as an Extra. That would be amazing!

When they did the rotten to the core fist bump without Carlos my heart broke in two. Without Cameron it just won’t be the same, but the animation looks pretty good!
