Special thanks to Subin for joining us today! I hope you got some value out of this if you're starting at any uni or if you're already well into your course! Follow for more! Side note: I just realised how random it was at the beginning where I showed my straightener... I was just a bit proud that it's the same and only straightener I've kept through high school... time is flying by guys... so stay positive and stay well
ahh i loved this style of Q&A and thank you for providing your perspective about uni. my goal for this year is to put myself out there and make friends so hopefully i find a society that i like :)
Thank you!!! Yes please find a group to join! It’s all about connections after all hehe as long as you’re known or have some mutuals to some people, you’ve expanded your reach! ✨
Even tho you're not from my country, it is really refresing to see someone graduating in design. I am a design student and listen to your experience is really a motivation to keep going with the graduation.
You’re so precious 🥹 I’m so curious and would love to hear about your experience in design in your country! What country are you based in? (If it’s tmi dw about this) 😂 so glad this video served you in some way 🤍✨keep pushing forward! 🤜🏻
@@dannirenn it's not tmi since i vlog too, don't worry 🥺 i'm from Brazil, and my uni specifically, has product, graphic and interior design at the same major
I haven’t done my masters so I can’t give you a definitive answer on this 😭 but I’d say it’s a good way to work on a self project to showcase your skills and spend some time finding your style! Hope this helps! Thanks for watching ❤️
@@dannirenn oh thanks for the insight. But like wbu! The job you are working right now, was there any help from the Uni? Or is it completely by your ownself ?
@@arpitapati6045 there are quite a few jobs listing for graphic designers at the moment actually! But sometimes it does feel like no one is looking for us 😭 I found my internship through UTS’s private job board called Career’s Hub!
@@arpitapati6045 Yes, of course! 🤩 Thank you so much for asking and please don’t hesitate to ask more! I’m here to help hehe 🤍✨ But yes some businesses will register with UTS Career Hub to put up job listings exclusive to the platform if they’re looking for students/graduates from the university! Which gives us an opportunity to get some experience! Otherwise there are platforms like Gradconnection (for graduates/graduate programs/internships) and seek.com or indeed.com that are accessible online for everyone!
Thanks for stopping by! Lectures are usually held in a large room with the whole cohort while a studio is more intimate, usually consisting of around 15 students and a tutor. Lectures are used to deliver information to students but studios are more interactive so they’re catered to you and your learning! Like in a classroom :) hope this helps!

Glad the video was helpful hehe ❤️❤️ thanks for your questions! 🤩
The fridge shot 😍
HAHA glad you liked it babes
So it was worth it after all 🍾🍾
Reminded myself to appreciate the process and that I wouldn’t be where I am today without it 🤍✨
Is it worth it to do a master in Design (extension) from UTS? How’s the job scenario post study in Sydney specifically?

I’ve been in UTS since 2017… but I did change my course and university at some point… hope this answers your question!
Brah, a black and grey cat. Just like chat and lady!!!!
Literally! Maybe black and grey cats have a thing for sticking together
I'm starting UTS quite soon.. could you explain what is the difference between lectures and tutorials in UTS
