I refer to Whole Foods as “whole paycheck!” Here is a tip from a home chef (me!) from my decades of experience with fine ingredients: don’t buy your nuts, crème fraiche, micro greens from WF. Trader Joe’s for nuts- so much less pricey! Micro greens and produce from a family Italian market, caviar and fish from an actual fish market.
