My little George had allergies. A couple times a year, he would scratch and chew so much, he was losing fur. I tried so many things, finally found one medicine that worked great, Apoquel. Then I changed the food to one vets and dog food companies will tell you is terrible, but I stand by it because he never had a problem after he started eating that. Turned out, he just needed better food, and no beef. He never had to be on allergy meds again
The food I switched to was a mid-range as to the price, not one of the real expensive ones.
whats your dogs diet like now?

Hi Dr i have a question, I'm feeding my Pug and Pitweiler a mix of 2 dry foods (Kirkland signature coscto food and Blue Buffalo) do you think this is harmful for them like maybe causing them allergies or making them gain weight? I mix those 2 along with wet food.
It would be helpful if instead of saying change the diet to offer exactly what foods to feed maybe a brand of dog food or foods least likely to cause an allergic reaction to...
stay tuned for my next video in a few days!
