Hat tip to Adam's driving, especially that second Stalwart, that is far harder than he made it look.
Fluff in the glass.......remnants of paper labels off the bottles!! Great channel!!
Nice to think the empties are going to a great use. Will try to remove the labels next time!
No, it's the remains of Teddy Bears after the glass eyes have been crushed. It's what they use.
@@willtricks9432No! Poor Paddington!
@@I_Don_t_want_a_handle Thousands of them, Ruperts by the skip load, Winnie by the TON. Nasty. Still brings up the metal work a treat so well worth it.
@@willtricks9432 You beast!
Absolutely no adverts on my feed. 👍🏻

None for me, just CEE Australia videos next plays.
I used to drive Stollies in the Army in Germany in 1989! Great memories ❤
Stollies really. Got any pics. What a machine.
‘Do you not normally chain anything down’? 🤣😂 Joe, I think that remark was close to getting you a clip round the lug.
That was Adam 🤣
Yes you're right that was Mr best
Adam was nearly wearing more chains than Mr T, for that crack.
I’m in 🇨🇦 and saw no ads. No blockers or anything, just no ads.
Oh boy - just scrolling through my subscriber list to check what I can kick back to and relax and BAM - a new upload from you guys.
Perfect. All I'm missing is a beer.
🍻🍺🍻🍺🍻
You’re welcome 😉
This and Furze - well there goes my last hour of the day.
cant drink a beer doing the february challenge no drink
@@antoineroy5876 Thought it was meant to be 'dry January'?
If these are not on your list, consider adding them: On Fire Welding, IC Weld, Cutting Edge Engineering, Snowball Engineering, Western Truck and Tractor Repair, Bruce in AUS
You have just sold me on the best truck chassis blasting system.
I watch from Australia and no advertising on my iPad. Love your channel, it’s great to see that not only old war machines are recycled, I think you guys are daft, strongly loyal to each other and bloody good fun. Keep it coming chaps
Crickey hats off to getting the second Stalwart on couldn't be sure if it was Adam incredible skills with the telehandler 👍
I've done this to caravan's before with crushed garnet rather than crushed glass (you can actually scoop that up again and get several uses out of it. My only recommendation is that a little bit of a prep goes a long way, covering the glass with some basic plastic just prevents little woopsies from becoming strange smears on every glass surface. Less glass on a tank than a caravan but might be wroth it for lights and mirrors, vision blocks etc.
No ads on my feed, love the quick results of the water blasting, brilliant.
Just wanna thank you Mr. Hewes. I genuinely don’t get excited for channels to upload videos. But I wait for you to upload! Y’all definitely tickle that childhood curiosity I have about tanks
This is how British people work together if you try to be stuck up or stand on position in a British company expect to be taken down a peg or two.

Just like to say that I am really enjoying your videos with your light hearted attitude and l find it amazing how you know so much. So basically looking forward to seeing the next video. Rich (retired building surveyor ) Ely UK
The aquablaster looks like a really good bit of kit. I've done a lot of conventional wet blasting with a traditional pressure pot setup (mainly on boat hulls) but my concern was always drying out the inside of the pot when it was in storage. Had visions of the thing turning into some sort of missile through corrosion rotting the bottom out. Wet is definitely the best process for this kind of work though, especially when dealing with spurious old coatings. Really enjoy the channel, thanks for keeping us all entertained.
I was told when I worked at the REME workshops that they used to sand blast the hulls as part of the base repair, to relieve fatigue in the alloy.
The process you’re using certainly makes short work of cleaning them up, impressive 👍
I can honestly say I've never heard that one,and I served my time @ REME Central workshops
Should have been in the RAF then, we seemed to spend half our lives painting that couldn't run away from us😂😂😂
@@stewartbrown8115 REME Chilwell? That's where I served. It was just an odd comment that I was told as an apprentice by one of the guys who did the blasting. Looking it up, it is effective - not very though. It's something that stuck with me all these years.
@@garyphillips7993 yes i was at chilwell from 66 to 75,iI spent the last 2 years in the test house mainly on the meteor/meteorite rig
@@stewartbrown8115 I was there 73 - 85/86, made redundant under Maggies closure program. I did quite a lot of work in the test house when I was with the maintenance division - I worked with a guy called Aidy, I think his name was. Moved to the LAD, last few years spent as end of line examiner in the main workshop. Now retired & looking back at it all.
That was great Joe. Volunteering to be your AquaBlaster!! Fabulous loading job with the Stolly's. Cheers, John
Excellent loading skills Mr Best!! You made a difficult load up look easy. 😎
Good bit of kit you've got there Joe far better than needlegunning for hours on end. As for adverts I got one after the outro for ladies hair straightening ! Possibly some link to Adams haircut ? 😁
The Aqua Blaster unit is an awesome bit of kit and so satisfying to watch it do it's thing.
its always a good day when you wake up to a video from Mr Hewes keep up the great work
Just Aqua blaster add! Much enjoyed! Thanks for shareing!
Such rapid content. Amazing service, guys. 😊👍🏻
Saw the stollies on the m5 today, good old caines they use to run some nice noisy trucks
I used to regularly drive through Chidoek. Big hills on both sides and speed cameras in the pretty village. There used to me a resident who went across the Pelican Crossing, then pressed the button and returned, He did that almost all day, every day.
Ha ha.I’m Dorset and yes I’ve heard of that guy trying to bugger up all the traffic. Wasn’t it Chidok where the lorry driver sacrificed himself when his brakes failed just past the escape lane and to avoid running over a line of near stationary cars in the village, he swung it into a cottage. I think a lady in the cottage died along with the driver, who could have walked away if he had gone over 20 cars! I saw the wreck in a garage alongside the 1944 Diamond T that pulled it out and up the hill. Horrific.@@stco2426
No Adverts appeared Joe. Great job with the Aqua Blasting Guys. 👍👍👍👍👍
No adverts at all !!
Adblocker for the win ! 😇
Cheers Joe. Stollies arrived safe and well. Should keep me busy for a while 😂👍👍
Can we expect videos ?
While he had the blaster running, could have given them the once over, eh?
@@andrewgray1949 The 2nd one might have ended up in several plastic bags and thrown in the back of the working Stolly.
@@jonb3311 BenoCam already has a stolly vid on youtube
Exactly what i was thinking@@andrewgray1949 he could have done a wee square on one and sent the clip to @BenoCam and said another 2k and i'll do the lot lol
That’s aqua blaster is just amazing the work it does and the effort you need to put in is just beyond amazing
Good bit of driving by Adam loading the stoles, think they might of been improved with a bit of blasting to.
If they did I don't think there would have been much bodywork left after blasting. 😂
Having used a needle gun on parts for a steam ship, I'm in awe of that machine. Nice job!
Thanks for flogging the Stollys to Ben. I'd seen his diving on the tv but not discovered his youtube. The cornish mine vids are fascinating.
UA-cam suggested i shop at lovehoney, clearly aware im neglecting my wife to watch a man paint strip a tank..
Isn't the 432 made of a aluminium alloy? I think I remember someone saying that. Well, not the exhaust and other bits and pieces, but the armoured body. Real vintage things, they had them in Vietnam already.
Man that water blaster is powerful, cleans multi layers of decades old paint and rust off in not much more than one medium pace pass.
Gamechanger!!💪👌👌
Normally the adverts are you tube premium but the funniest one was when Halfords popped up 😂😂
Nil no adverts on my feed. Look forward to all your team efforts, many thanks.
Bless it's little heart, that Stalwart is somehow running on only 3 cylinders 🤣
I used to aquablast yachts for a living. It is enjoyable! breathing protection is still important!
Not kidding but you could pitch ‘tank restoration’ to the BBC as part of their slow TV series, I could watch it all day.
Noooooooo, don't let the BBC anywhere near. They would fill it full of political correctness and health and safety crap.
Don’t associate kids and the bbc ffs 😂
@@philleeson7835 have you seen how much politics they get into a three hour film without commentary about a barge travelling down a canal?
As a German viewer, I actually get the same advertising as with other videos about new razors, insurance or video games. The radiance thing is really a good thing. You can always do this as a time lapse, it's good to watch and see the previous close up picture.
I frequently get ads for menstrual pads and make-up stuff.. or dog toys and food.. I'm a dude and don't own a dog.. which fortunately means google knows ef-all about me..
My advert was the tank museum 😂. Ironically I drive by it most days don’t need to be told about it 🙈. Keep up the good work 👍
Another channel i love watching is cutting edge engineering channel he has just got one of these blasters i would love ago ever need anyone to do any ill do it for free
Wow Very Impressed with that Aqua Blasting Machine made a very Job Look easy to get the APC ready for Paint Nice Thanks we Had Stalwarts in out battalion too
I got an ad for sheep salt lick and sex lube…for reasons known only to the algorithm.
Ty for the adventure back didn't hurt knuckles didn't get skint up lol I love the videos
It was just by chance that i came across this channel, you blokes remind me of a series i watched called Tank overhaul ,great stuff as i remember , fabulous restoration and trouble shooting skills top blokes all round ,i used to work in industry as a shot blaster and have used the small cabinet grit blasters for detailed work on torsion bar splines ,happy days :}
Well done , that will look good when painted!🍺💪💪👍
I only got two adverts come up - one for the Blue Lagoon Massage Parlour, Stoke on Trent and the other for Uncle Sam’s Spitting Python Roadshow. The aqua blaster made neat work of the APC in next to no time. Impressive bit of kit especially considering the minimal amount of mess. Nifty bit of telehandler driving too.
Big fan of Mr Hewes here. Recommend these quality creators: On Fire Welding, IC Weld, Cutting Edge Engineering, Snowball Engineering, Western Truck and Tractor Repair, Bruce in AUS to add to your subscriber list.
Having just spent 10 days hand scraping old antifouling off a 32 foot hull, I fair envy you the aquablaster. I mainly get games adverts on here and bizarrely this past week ladies' sanitary products. So much for intelligent targeting.
Fantastic channel, keep them coming - Re. Adverts, if I understand it correctly we should all be getting different ads - unless you are a recently retired time-served engineering manager, who’s been looking at buying a new car, planning a getaway to the Italian lakes and has looked at a new lawn mower recently - only spanner in their works is that me and my wife share an Amazon and Google account so I will get the odd one that relates to what she has been searching, like kitchens or bathrooms !
Another great video Mr. Hewes. All your patience and attention to detail will pay off. I haven't watched all your videos yet but I would use that Aqua Blaster on the engine and spare after I hosed it down with a case of engine degreaser! lol On the inside as well. But I know you guys know more about what you are doing than I do! Be safe, cheers, S
No adverts at all on feed here in south Africa, great subject matter, keep em coming
Great to watch you all the Bentley scrambling in the field was a corker. The advert just through this was a crap heater and a Laser Blaster for steel
Well the one and only ad is see on this fine channel might be that can of thatchers you so oftenly throw down your hatch but further no ads of any kind.
Keep up the good work i really enjoy this channel even with your program for the elevation disadvantaged people.
Love the t-shirts Jack
That aquablasting is the dogs, what a great finish ready for priming. Awesome vid again, thanks guys. No ads, running uBlock!!
No adverts here. US based viewer. Aqua blast is very nice, well done. Cheers
Very informative. I didn’t know what aqua blasting was before this!
No ads whatsoever that’s why I love your channel keep it up great vids thank you.
No Ads here, nice bit of aqua blasting 🤠
pretty damn satisfying watch this - love to be doing it of course, but still just as nice watching someone do the work
its a shame your customer didn't pay you to clean the Stolly up, that would be nice to see in bare metal, ready to paint
nice to see Adams artistry, some kids never grow up, i resemble that remark
It's so satisfying watching the aqua blasting. Such an awesome bit of kit!
That aqua blast maching is a great bit of kit👌
Hi , I don't see any adverts . I watch every day brings back many memories .
I'm continually getting royal match from the play store. Great video again what an awesome result from the blasting on APC.
Great video, the aqua blaster looks a great machine, couldn't have been trucker Tim because Jay was actually doing some work
I remember repainting a Daimler Ferret years ago and having to chisel of fthe layers of paint which took over a month of weekends. Your aqua blast looks perfect, not sure my neighbours on a shared drive would have liked it though
Great to watch from Germany as always. I got an ad inviting me to share a night with 150 Shen Yun Chinese dancers in Leipzig. I don’t fully speak German but it sounds lovely.
got to say Adam did a damn good job loading that second Stolly ( especially as he couldn't really see where the front wheels or the ramp were )
@PartridgeExteriorCleaning has some new competition. Very satisfying to watch. Keep the videos coming they are great fun to watch 👍
Seeing you using that aqua blaster makes me almost want to do it myself!
That design Adam blasted into the side of the FV looked like a Gothic arch motif...😁
The ads I see range all over the place...home improvement, cars, local government and healthcare. The ads we see must depend on where we are (or where YT thinks we are).
Sorry to see the Stollies go as I think they are a rather cool looking machine and would love to see one fully restored. As has already been said, hats off to Adam's driving to get the second one on the truck. Mind you it only worked because the name of Foden was invoked.
Mitsubishi pickups and cruise adverts, neither of which I want. AI got that wrong. Always enjoy your work, thanks for making a great UA-cam channel.
I love that machine to strip the paint off! Not your usual sand blasting machine I have used.
You Brits have such fun toys. Figures anyone who produced the XKE would have great class.
thats a really good bit of kit Joe and so quick 👌
No ads when I watch your stuff. Suits me just fine!
Great vid as always👌
That's a really effective process. Great solution.
Cracking vid. Great to see you got the blaster. Saw you demo-ing it the other month and it looks a proper bit of kit. Good on water and media and as quicker it'll soon pay for itself on compressor hours / less fuel etc. That it's also kinder on the metal and seems much safer to use is also fab. Nice drivin' on the 'foden'! Looking forward to more of the same, please!
I saw a hodiday ad. I think I'd rather come and help and if blasting then I'd create my own beach.
It does such a good job of cleaning all the paint and rust 👍👍🇦🇺
I had no adverts until the the video was done, then i got an advertisement. Not sure if that counts, but it was for a swedish company that makes bread.
I used to work in a shop that sold used cars, we did some sand blasting. And despite having protection, sand got everywhere, sure wish i had that aqua blaster back then.
I get no adverts at the start or during but at the end i get an auto express advert. Brilliant video by the way
We need one of those blasters at the tank museum where I do volunteer work. No da. Great show as usual
sad to see the stollys moving on. something very sci-fi about them. great looking transport.
It's too bad the stalwarts are way too rusted out to be restored, I'd really like to see you guys fix one of them up. I'm sure a lot more people would as well! You all do fantastic work!
Dont you worry they are certainly not too far gone to be restored. Might take me a while but i will get them done 🙂
Great ! ...all that Chrome 6 paint in the environment !
Thanks to Adguard, No ads. Best chrome extension ever.
No adverts on my feed in Australia. Fantastic channel a great team including the darker coloured four legged shop boss. Stay safe and warm in that forever wet UK.😅
Didn't you mean "... *especially* the darker coloured four legged shop boss"?
@@DraftySatyr Indeed, and one has to be so politically correct these days how one describes living creatures. Bloody 'ripper' (fantastic) crew all round.
On my feed, as I live in France the adds are always in French for solar panels, lazer cutting systems, the latest (completely rubbish) trendy gadgets. They get deleted as soon as they appear.
Keep up the good work Lads. Let me know when you are going to visit the tank museum in France. It is just south of where I live. You never know, you might need a tow if you are going in the Bentley Joe!
What a great vehicle the Avis stally was. Cheiftain fuel. Engines gearboxes. Nothing was any trouble for this vehicle.
That AquaBlast does look fast and economical on materials. I have used dry blasting with ''J Blast copper slag' medium and 'Chilled Iron Shot', but none were that quick, although I was doing cast iron gas pipe to SA 2.5, and that looks clean to work with, great stuff. Add for Uergo screwdriver set. And no I don't work for AquaBlast, I worked in the Gas Industry.
I've used Chilled Iron Shot to prep metal windows for powder coating, glad I'm retired now.
Tank you, that was great I also am in Canada, no adds.
I spent a summer, between my university’s sophomore and junior years, sandblasting the rebar of miles of raised concrete highway bridge decks - the unit was on an 18 wheeler flatbed trailer w/ a huge 2 story tall pressure vessel for the sand, an equally large diesel powered compressor - every evening from 5pm to 6am, we worked on bridge decks, with only 4’ high concrete jersey barriers separating endless streams of 18 wheelers hauling azz at 65 mph - we wore canvas jump suits steel toed boots and full “space man” headgear in which we had pumped-in AC, wired communications to the 4 person team, etc… can’t tell ya how many times we’d be working in close proximity to each other and we’d end up briefly blasting a leg or boot…. This was back in 1985 and IIRC, we grossed $50/hr, averaging between 60-70 hrs/work wk, covering 13-14 wks… making $50k gross over the summer meant that the money earned bartending and bouncing on weekends was just play moola
All the comments about ads reminds me why YT premium...with music...is great value. I forget there can be ads.
No adverts here (UK) as I am a premium subscriber. Great channel and really enjoy your watching your adventures and banter.
lol, love your stuff.. I used to drive a M113A1 (Medic Track w/ the big Red Cross on it..) and I got to drive a M60 Tank for a minute one time... Army 1975...
Amazing technique with great finish 😮
Adam made that loading look easy.
The tailgate of that second Stoli looked a little bendy afterwards, though. Was that way before?
Zero adverts on this one, I'm down in NZ, , dont know if it makes any difference. Oh, love the vids, something cathartic watching others work on old vehicles before going and working on old vehicles.
