Hello! Long time no see! This is a video from my Suggestion Box on Patreon. I actually attempted to record this once before a very long time ago, but I gave up on it for one reason or another. However, this track wound up at the top of the Suggestion Box recently, so I ended up giving it another go, and this was the result. Hope you enjoy it!
Special thanks to all of my Patrons who suggested this track! I actually attempted Witchyworld once before and ended up scrapping it, but since it ended up at the top of my suggestion box, I decided to give it another go. I did my best with this one this time around, so I hope you enjoy it!
Great to see you again
You're back! Nice
Excellent work as always!
If I close my eyes, I can the world in front of me with Banjo wandering in it. Amazingly done friend!
To me man, you nailed it. Amazing!!
My joy is immeasurable and my day is made
Goodday fellow rotw fan
man of culture
Reverse Reviewbrah reference, I see 🙂🙂
I don't know how Grant was able to compose a song that simultaneously conveys both whimsy and depression but he did it and it fits Witchyworld perfectly. Great cover, by the way.
This conveys Witchyworld's eerie feeling of an abondoned/haunted amusement park insanely well
Definitely has an abandoned bigtop feel to it
I just heard the "bleeh" noise from the rat enemies haha
Ah...I see you are a man of culture as well.
And the massive slot machines going after you
and the Banjo sound when being hit "Guh-Oh!"
Bruh
Now we just need Boggy's obese son to fart and we've got ambiance!
It's a shame that Banjo-Tooie is often overshadowed by Banjo-Kazooie, I think it's one of the best sequels to any game ever. Witchyworld is one of my favorites, losing only to Grunty's Industries. Anyways, amazing work as always, Mr. Fart, and I hope you'll do more Banjo-Tooie covers in the future.
BKT has always been my gold standard for a sequel that builds on its predecessor while subtracting nothing. Maybe the worlds were too big for some people and the mini-games were halfbaked, but it didn't bother me as a kid. I was just thrilled that every transformation had an attack, and every level had a boss.
I actually played Tooie first and felt a bit let down when playing kazooie because it had less to offer. Still a great game though.
Michael G. Same. I barely liked Banjo-Kazooie at all.
See, I had the same opinions as a kid, but as I grew older, I became like my stepdad who stopped playing Tooie because it had too much backtracking. Honestly it weighed down the game, however back then there was only one game like it, being DK64. They were forms of collectathons on their own that were so ambitious and ahead of their time that they deserve to be reimagined in the modern era, with both originally being above original Kazooie when I was a kid. Now, Kazooie’s my favorite and is what I consider to be the best because it is simple, but tied with it is Tooie which will forever honorarily be the perfect sequel that couldn’t.
@@michaelg.4562 I did at first too but as I grew older and replayed the games many times over, I began to appreciate Kazooie's tighter gameplay and world design structure SO much more.
Tooie is a fantastic sequel but it's just a little too bloated imo
THE POO POO FART IS BACK,
AND WITH TALENT THAT DOESN’T LACK!
Returning with a classic song from my favorite series done so perfectly,
It almost makes the days the bear and bird were gone vanish entirely.
Hard to believe it's been 9 years since you did Jolly Roger's Lagoon, the perfect companion to this song.
Witchyworld was always one of my favorites. Haunted circuses are my favorite kind of Halloween spookiness, so I was naturally attracted to it. Wonderful rendition!
Your ability to capture the mood of older Vidya Music and keep the spirit of Kirkhope in the music is invigorating.
This level is the one I always look back on when I think of childhood, creepy circus with a dynamic theme depending on where you were in the stage (like the banjo when you were in the sandy area or the more distorted feeling when you entered the alien area) made it unforgettable for me
That and that one person selling snot covered burgers and Mr. Patch himself lmfao
That was one thing that BK2 did extremely well, was subtly changing the music depending on which sub-environment you were in. I don't remember BK1 really doing that a whole lot outside on separate interior loadzones.
@@Akeldama9 Mumbos mountain: Near mumbos Hut and Near congas tree!
Treasury trove Cove: Near The Ship!
Globus Valley: Near The Sphinx!
And then there is click clock Wood, with 7 different Versions of The Main theme!!!!!!!
@@danyhunselar9654 Click Clock Wood is my favorite map in BK, that was brilliantly done!
@@Akeldama9 IT was a great final level
I still can't comprehend how you can play every instrument known to man. Also, one of my favourite songs from Banjo-Tooie.
*"You win a beating! I like this one!"*
Insert banjo bonk noises here with Gruntilda laughing at the end*
Oh my God! YES! Witchyworld is like my favorite track from Banjo-Tooie! I've wanted to hear it properly covered like this for my whole life!!
The Banjo Kazooie series has the best music. Period.
But this is Tooie...
Counterpoint: kirby
Donkeys Kong music is unbeatable
SMG, Chrono. Enough said. But I do love BK music a lot.
Daniel Major Series. All of the games, including Tooie.
This is beautiful. I wish you uploaded more frequently, every single video is amazing.
The instrument selection is so loyal to the original track too. Feels very much of its time, but as clean and crisp as you'd expect a modern cover to be. Less of a cover, and more of a remaster!
Thank you for another excellent track!
Indeed, his choice of instruments is 100% accurate. That's something very unusual and i personally appreciate it a lot.
This sounds so freaking good!
@@ElFillDelSele He seems to have given up like a lot of musicians at the time and musicians don't take kindly to suggestions for some reason they get upset easily. I dunno why. It seems right after Trump was elected a lot of them immediately stopped uploading that were still doing it. I guess he irked them (even though the media has been caught lying again and again in their crusade against him)
@@ElFillDelSele Nobody should place their President as part of their daily life but sadly many on here do.
@@kylehill3643 I think its just that making videos to such a high standard is too time consuming and costly that it discourages him from making as many videos as he could.
Quality over quantity. And imagine how much effort has to go into Music covers. From PPF to Peter Hollens, theres the recording of EACH instrument, how many takes it takes to get each note right, and then theres the editing that go into these videos as well so its also visually appealing. And theres also gonna be times where they need to have time for themselves
I love this, yaaassss, I’ve played over 100 hours on my Banjo Tooie save file, I still have the cartridge and the Pikachu edition n64 !! I love ALL of Tooie’s soundtracks made by the musical genius Grant Kirkhope. Your rendition of Witchy World is EPIC , totally made my day!!!
Nice! He really did a great job. I recently played through my Banjo Tooie cartridge on my Sony CRT tv and had a blast. This game and the first one were two of my all-time fav titles. I swear, closing my eyes, I can't tell I'm listening to a youtube video and not playing the game!
100 hours? How many times u complete it haha
Glad to see you’re still posting. Great song and great recreation of it!
Gosh dang, that’s the best part of that game and you have such a variety in your arsenal!! How??
I love the sound that the green trombone makes!
I have never commented anything before for the 10+ years I have used youtube throughout my life. PPF it's crazy how you're only at 100k subs, the time and effort you put in is greatly appreciated by the people who do watch your content. Every time you make a new video I spend about the next hour or so listening to all the other performances. And I'm able to do that without downgrading because your content is both consistent in quality and effort. Keep up the great work.
The fact you can play so many instruments and to a song with so much going on is an amazing talent!
I can still whistle along to the melody, just like I did all those years ago when I was playing this game. It seems like a lot of early video game music melodies are carved into my brain that way. Nicely done.
just amazing thanks for the smile that appeared on my phone out of nowhere it came and now i feel great
Our PPF has just returned!
With some new instruments he's learned!
Who knows if he will stay for long...
For now, let's just enjoy this song!!
THE FART STRIKES BACK!
Man, I missed your videos so much! It's great to hear a new arrangement from you.
Witchyworld is one of my favorite Banjo-Tooie tracks and you did a fantastic job as usual!
It sounds exactly how I remembered the song, but without that N64 compression. :')
He’s back! Love seeing and hearing your content, keep up the great work!
Hitting us with that fiery toot right at the opening. My eyebrows will grow back, I hope.
You're alive!! And with such a wonderful rendition of this great song. Thank you!
I am so glad you played one of my favorite songs of all time! Good to see you release more songs. Amazing cover as usual.
Mr. Patch was the first boss fight I can actually remember in any video game. When the trombone starts at 1:51 it still gives me chils to this day hahaha
So glad to see you back playing Banjo-Tooie! LOVE your covers! Cheers from Brazil from a long time subscriber!
I literally typed "witchyworld" in the search bar to listen to the original a couple of days ago, not knowing PPF covered it. VERY NICE.
Awesome to see you're still around! Keep up the covers!
Its always a treat seeing a new video of your latest projects! Keep up the great work!
I look forward to your videos. I think your renditions of VG music are some of the very best on UA-cam. MIDI to all live instruments is exactly what I look for.
This was always my favorite stage in the game! Glad I could come back and watch this rendition again! Hope you do more from the Banjo games.
Thanks for the wonderful renditions of wonderful tunes from wonderful games. My 2 year old loves your channel and so do I.
Totally outstanding!
I love this arrangement, great work as always!
Man, I really enjoy and love all of your work. Keep up making awesome covers!
Man these musical arrangements of yours are so beautifuly done. Thank you for sharing your musical take on these songs. Amazing.

Well that was fantastic! Good to see you again PPF!!
Amazing cover dude, one of my favorite video game music. With your remix it just sounds like a movie OST.
GG!
I'm so happy to see the song I (and many others) suggested be covered so awesomely.
Bravo!
One of my favorite level themes from a series where I feel like every single theme is iconic! Great job as always!
This could've been just you talking about making new vids and I still would be as excited because you're back! :)
When poop poop fart plays the spoons they stay played.
Just what I needed, more PPF. I I wish you uploaded more but I know these videos are intricate and take time. Thanks for this
I don't know why but that Trombone tone is *chef's kiss.
Amazing job PPF! Thank you SO much for covering so many of Banjo Kazooie and Tooie’s tracks. They’re my favorite games of all time. Your videos are my favorite VG covers, period. Keep up the good work and stay safe!

Simply a masterpiece. Bravo, well done!
Amazing booming trombone work with this, would love to hear that used in other songs.
After hearing this I immediately went back to play this game. Always have loved this franchise and I always will.... stunning cover dude. Can’t wait for more!

Notification gang rise up. I wouldn't miss another PPF rendition for the world!
Every day that PPF posts a new video is a good day! Your covers are the most accurate and perfect on the internet!
I'm so glad you're still producing these
This is absolutely wonderful! Immediately transported back to my childhood. Your talent is immeasurable. ❤
I genuinely don’t understand how you don’t have more subscribers with this amount of talent. It’s criminal. Jesus.
God Grant Kirkhope is a genius at video game music and setting an atmosphere. I don't think I would have had nearly as much fun on these levels if the music didn't have this kind of lively flare.
Man, Love the long gaps between amazing videos
DAAAAMN I LOVE YOU PPF, THANKS FOR THIS🥰🥰
Bell notification is awesome. Now i can listen to this right before i sleep. Great music :)

Such nostalgia PPF! I learned this song on the piano a long time ago. It's awesome to see you do it!
Absolutely fantastic! A nice steamy one, as usual. Nothing but quality :D

4:15 was the moment I was waiting for in this song and you did an amazing jobbbb. Congratulations for being so talented and playing this masterpiece with excellence.
I'm speechless. I like this too much and it's beyond my capability to describe how much I like this.
Truly awesome, Banjo Kazooie and Tooie are one of my all time favorite games.
It's always such a nice surprise to see a new PPF video in my subscription feed! And it's a Banjo one too! :'D Your work has been an inspiration of mine for such a long time dude, thank you for the music!
