Very nice. Also loving that sub bass sound off the Digitakt. I'm constantly impressed by how you get such musical results from relatively small simple setups.
I love your videos! Ordered the Lapsus OS after watching a different video you did. Wasn’t really interested in the Imitor Versio until now. May eventually end up with all of the Versios, lol! Excellent jams every time and always getting new ideas for patching.
Nice! I had the Imitor for a while but couldn't really connect with it so I switched it for the Desmodus. I think that I will bring back the Imitor now, explore it a bit more :)
@@IhorMedia Trying to get my head around the flashing - So you can have the Imitor Versio unit, but then load the software from any of the other Verio units on to it? Or are there limitations that certain Veriso units can only load certain Versio softwares?
Awesome. I'm thinking of getting the Imitor. How do you setup the Digitakt? The kick is really coming through. Do you sidechain it with hardware/software outside the frame?
I think it is a design decision. It is a delay designed for experimentation. So, having 12 taps as minimum quite an interesting limitation to start with. Quite unusual. Immediately drops you into experimentation territory. With the feedback (Regen) knob you can get more though.
Off topic: Your drums sound so clean! I'd which you could share some tips and tricks on drum selections. I also try to use a compressor for a ducking effect. By the way, does the Digitakt can duck the new feature of incomming audio? 🤔
Honestly I've never tried to use external input for sidechain yet. But I really need to try it out! Usually I'd have compressor in kinda limiter settings (short atack, short release, max ratio) and then I'd bring threshold to the point where it starts catching the kick drum a little bit. Not too much tho. In that way kinda nothing will be more loud than that threshold. In that way kick will stand out in the mix! When it comes to the rest of the drums, I try not to overthink too much. "Sounds good? I am down with it." - this is more or less my strategy. Also I am thinking to create some more content about this topic on my channel. Thanks for your kind words! I appreciate you!
Ihor 👋ace info once again and deja vu as Redmeans just done demo using 3 Versio modules, so difficult to choose which one as can’t buy 3 so which one ???? In your view Always look forward to your demos, Techno pulsating streams my friend 👍👍🆒🎶🎶🎶🎶⚡️🕸🔱
Well, Martin, you can start with one and try any of 5 firmwares on it for free. Imitor can become Desmodus, or Ruina, or Ampla, or Electus in a matter of 1 minute.
... If trying to programme one sound-layer or sample (12 taps(spread)) on whole track which continues about 5 or 7 minutes??? :) Yo! ;) taking several ones (like bass, melody, beats, ... ) that's interesting to experimenting with. Cool Track, Men!
Learned a lot, love the sounds you make, thanks for doing exactly what you are doing. Big love
So you’re the cool synth Uncle?
Seriously one of the most palatable sit ins on the tube. I imagine a fireplace✌️
Awesome jam! So many sounds out of a small rig 😁
Thank you!

You won't regret it! Glad to hear that you get ideas from my work! It means a lot

Thanks for explaining the modul, good job!
Thank you Sinus!
Always love your videos and jams. Thanks 🙏🏼
Thank you Dion! I appreciate you!

@@freddiefranklin1 no limitations really! If you got one Versio, it can be flashed into any other Versio for free.
Interesting Description. Thanx! :) looks like "How playing with the "sound-tale""...

Great video again man! 👏

This was fantastic! Thanks! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thank you Charles!
Awesome video…again!
Thanks Alex!
I've always wondered: why 12 taps? Why not a knob/CV control for how many taps?
I think it is a design decision. It is a delay designed for experimentation. So, having 12 taps as minimum quite an interesting limitation to start with. Quite unusual. Immediately drops you into experimentation territory. With the feedback (Regen) knob you can get more though.
I'd love to hear your review of Desmodus
I wouldn’t forget about it 😉

I think you will be limited by amount of spread time. But definitely it is really good for experiments! Thanks for kicking in!
